Հայաստանի գրողների միությունը Ամանորի նախաշեմին հայտարարություն էր տարածել, որով պահանջում է ՀՀ վարչապետի և կառավարության հրաժարականը։ Հայտարարության մեջ ասված է․

Սիրելի հայրենակիցներ,

Ցավով պետք է արձանագրենք, որ 2020 թվականը փակում ենք մեր ժողովրդի ու Հայրենիքի համար չափազանց տագնապալի իրավիճակում։ Տնտեսական ու սոցիալական զարգացման իրական հեռանկարների բացակայությունը, կորոնավիրուսի համաճարակի դեմ անբավարար պայքարը, ազգային արժեքների ոտնահարմամբ՝ կրթական, գիտական, մշակութային զարգացման կասկածելի քաղաքականության որդեգրումն ու համառորեն գործադրումը, վերջապես՝ ձախողված ներքին ու արտաքին քաղաքականության արդյունքում, Արցախյան երկրորդ տևական պատերազմում կրած նվաստացուցիչ պարտությունը՝ տասնյակ հազարավոր զոհերի, վիրավորների, գերեվարվածների և անհետ կորածների ցավալի հետևանքներով, Արցախի Հանրապետության և Հայաստանի Հանրապետության տարածքային զգալի կորուստներով և անվտանգության մակարդակի նվազման աղետալի իրողություններով… Իրողություններ, որոնց պատճառներն ու հետևանքները՝ առանց զգացմունքային դրսևորումների, ենթակա են խորքային ու համապարփակ քննության։

Այս ամենով հանդերձ, մենք, սակայն, գտնում ենք, որ դեռևս ամեն բան կորած չէ, դեռ կան իրավական, դիվանագիտական լծակներ, միջազգային ձևաչափեր ու հարթակներ, որոնցում կարելի է և պե՛տք է լրջագույն, փորձառու մասնագիտական ուժերի ու ռեսուրսների ներգրավմամբ պայքարել հայանպաստ լուծումներ գտնելու և որոշումներ կայացնելու համար։

Բայց դա այլևս չի կարող անել ներկա իշխանությունը։

Ահա թե ինչու, համազգային շահերից, մեր ժողովրդի ապագայի տեսլականից բխող նպատակների իրագործման համար ակնկալում ենք ՀՀ գործող վարչապետի և կառավարության հրաժարականն ու ազգային համաձայնության անցումային կառավարության ձևավորումը։
