Համացանցում՝ փոսի մեջ ու հողին քնած զինվորի լուսանկարի հերոսը 20- ամյա Էրիկն է։ Ծնվել ու մեծացել է Շուշիում. սիրում է հայրենի քաղաքն ու հպարտությամբ ասում, որ շինարար հայրն էր այն մարդկանցից մեկը, որը Շուշիին ժամանակակից տեսք էր տվել։ Երեք եղբայրներից ամենափոքրն է Էրկիկը։ Նա խոստովանում է` դպրոցում լավ չէր սովորում ու սպորտն էր տարերքը։ Բանակ զորակոչվեց, երբ երկրորդ կուրիսի ուսանող էր։

Գրիգորյանի ծառայությունն անցել է Մադաղիսում՝ այնտեղ էր ուզում ծառայել։ Հետո, սեպտեմբերի 27-ին սկսվեց արցախյան պատերազմը, իրենք դիրքերում էին ու տանկիստ էրիկը՝ չնայած երիտասարդ տարիքին, դաժան մարտերի մասնակիցը դարձավ։

Պայթող արկերի կողքին՝ հոր սովորացրածի նման իրեն չկորցրեց ու անցավ հայրենիքի պաշտպանությանը։ Պատմություններ կան, որոնք տեսախցիկից այն կողմ թողեց. 20-ամյա երիտասարդն իր հասակակիցների նման, անչափ դաժան ու անմարդակային տեսարանների վկան է։ Էրիկը շատ մարտական ընկերներ է կորցրել։ Ինքն էլ վիրավորվել՝ կորցրել է ոտքը, վնասվել էր նաև թոքերը։

«Փաստինֆո»-ի հետ զրույցում պատմեց, որ վիրավորվել է հոկտեմբերի 23-ին՝ արկն ընկել է ոտքի վրա։ Իրեն ու ծառայակից ընկերոջը անծանոթ զինծառայողներ են փրկել, բուժօգնություն ցուցաբերել։ Էրիկը հետագայում է իմացել, որ կյանքը փրկած տղաները նահատակվել են։

Էրիկի հայրն էլ՝ արցախյան առաջին ազատամարտի մասնակից է ։ Այս անգամ էլ, որդու հետևից գնաց առաջնագիծ՝ հայրենիքը պաշտպանելու։ Կռվեց Աղդամում, որդուն էլ հասցրեց մեկ անգամ տեսնել։ Վիրավորվեց։
