Հավանաբար, երբեք Pantone ինստիտուտի հետազոտողների մոտ այդքան բարդ խնդիր չի եղել։ Նրանց ընտրությունը մի տեսակ գունավոր հոմանիշ է այն ամենի, ինչ արդեն եղել է եւ ինչ կլինի հաջորդ 365 օրերի ընթացքում: Եվ այժմ փորձագետները պետք է ընտրեին այնպիսի երանգ, որը կկարողանա միավորել այս հագեցած տարում տեղի ունեցող բացարձակապես բոլոր փոփոխությունները:
