«Ես գիտեմ ցավի ու փորձության համը շատ ավելի վաղուց, քան կարելի էր: Բայց միշտ կարողացել եմ հաղթահարել ու արժանապատվորեն դուրս գալ ինձ բաժին հասած փորձանքից, ցավից ու ողբերգությունից, ու ամենակարևորը՝ երբեք չեմ չարացել կյանքի ու մարդկանց հանդեպ, շնորհակալ լինելով ամեն վատ ու լավ օրվա համար: Ավելի ուշ հասկացել եմ, որ Աստված իմ մեջ եղել ու գործել է ծնվելուս հետ…
Այն, ինչ տվեց մեզ այս տարին դեռ սկզբից, ես, միևնույն է, փորձելով գտնել ու քաղել միայն դրականն այդ ամենից, լուռ սպասում էի «ներկայացման» ավարտին, կրկին չտրտնջալով ու գոհանալով:
Բայց սեպտեմբերն ավիրեց, քանդեց, ոչնչացրեց ամենաթանկը, ինչ ունեմ, ինչի ծաղկման ու հզորացման մասին երազում եմ ամեն օր…
Պատերազմը խլեց ինձանից 5000 եղբայր, 10000-ին թողնելով անապագա դառնության մեջ, խլեց ուրախությունս ու երազանքներիս կեսը…
Էս ցավը նման չի ուրիշ ոչ մի ցավի, էս ցավը կոտրել է մեջքս, դարձրել ինձ կիսատ ու դատարկ, բերել իր հետ հիասթափություն ու մեռնելու չափ ամոթի զգացում.ամոթ՝սեփական տեսակի ոչնչության համար…
Էդքան անմեղ արյունը թող սրբի, իր հետ տանի ամեն չարիք, դավաճանություն ու նենգություն մեր հողից, թող վերջապես լույս բացվի Հայաստան ու Արցախ աշխարհների ու մեր մի բուռ ժողովրդի համար, թող սեր ու բարություն սփռվի մարդկանց սրտերին, այլ ոչ ատելություն ու պառակտում, որպեսզի արժանի լինենք շարունակելու ապրել էդ արնաթաթախ հողի վրա…
