ԱՄՆ նորընտիր նախագահ դեմոկրատ Ջոզեֆ Բայդենը հաստատել է, որ երդմնակալությունից հետո կգործարկի ռազմական դրության օրենքը երկրում կորոնավիրուսի դեմ պատվաստանյութի արագ տարածման համար: Նա համապատասխան հայտարարությունը կատարել է Ուիլմինգթոնում (Դելավեր նահանգ) ելույթ ունենալիս, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

 

«[Պատվաստանյութի տարածման գործընթացն] արագացնելու համար պաշտոնը ստանձնելուց հետո ես կգործարկեմ ռազմական դրության օրենքը,- նշել է դեմոկրատը, որի երդմնակալությունը նախատեսված է 2021 թվականի հունվարի 20-ին: - Ես կկարգադրեմ, որ մասնավոր ընկերությունները արագացնեն պատվաստանյութերի ստեղծման համար անհրաժեշտ նյութերի, ինչպես նաեւ պաշտպանական սարքավորումների արտադրությունը»:

 

 

Հիշատակված օրենքը նախագահին թույլ է տալիս ազգային անվտանգության ամրապնդման նպատակով մեծացնել որոշակի ապրանքների արտադրության ծավալները: Պետության գործող ղեկավար Դոնալդ Թրամփը համավարակի սկզբում այդ փաստաթղթի դրույթները գործարկել էր մի քանի տասնյակ անգամ:

 

Թրամփի վարչակազմը կորոնավիրուսի դեմ պատվաստանյութը երկրում տարածում է զգալիորեն ավելի դանդաղ, քան ավելի վաղ նախատեսված էր, հայտարարել է Բայդենը: «Պատվաստանյութի բաշխման Թրամփի ծրագրի կատարումը ձգձգվում է»,- ասել է նա: «Ինչպես վաղուց նախազգուշացրել եմ, պատվաստանյութի տարածման եւ ներարկման միջոցառումներն իրականացվում են ոչ այնպես, ինչպես անհրաժեշտ է»,- շեշտել է նա:

 

«Թրամփի վարչակազմը մի քանի շաբաթ առաջ հասկացրեց, որ 20 մլն ամերիկացիներ կարող են պատվաստվել դեկտեմբերի վերջին: Մինչ դեկտեմբերի վերջ մի քանի օր է մնացել, բայց պատվաստվել են միայն մի քանի միլիոն մարդիկ»,- պարզաբանել է Բայդենը: Նրա կարծիքով՝ եթե նշված ծրագիրը հետագայում եւս նույնքան դանդաղ կատարվի, ապա ԱՄՆ բնակչության պատվաստման համար «տարիներ կպահանջվեն»: Դեմոկրատի կարծիքով՝ ԱՄՆ-ում կորոնավիրուսի տարածման հետ կապված իրավիճակը, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կբարելավվի միայն մարտին:
