Հայ ծնողներիս երեխայապաշտությունը հասնում է հիվանդագին աստիճանի, այն ինչ մեր կարծիքով անում ենք մեր երեխաների համար, իրականում անում ենք ոչ այնքան նրանց, ինչքան ինքներս մեզ համար: Աշխատանքի բերումով շատ եմ շփվում ծնողների հետ, հիմանակն մասը պատրաստ է իր երեխայի փոխարեն քննություն տալ, դասի գնալ, փողոցում կռիվ անել, իսկ մամաները մի ուրիշ կարգի վերաբերմունք ունեն իրենց տղաների նկատմամբ, չեմ չափազանցնում, բայց եթե մեր իրականության մեջ լսեմ, որ տղու փոխարեն աղջկան մայր է մոտեցել և առաջարկել ընտրել իրենց տղային, չեմ զարմանա: Մյուս կողմից հայ ծնողներն ուղղակի բզկտում են մանկավարժներին, մի զարմացեք, բայց լուրջ խնդիր է դարձել մանկավարժների ձեռքին զանգելը օրվա բոլոր ժամերին, երկար բարակ խոսելը ու խեղճ մարդկանց անընդհատ լարված պահելը: Իսկ եթե հանկարծ խնդիր է լինում դպրոցում, ապա սկսվում են նույն մանկավարժներին ու դպրոցի հասցեին մեղմ ասած քննադատությունները, այստեղ-այնտեղ լավ ու վատ դպրոցի վարկանիշ ձևավորելը: Իսկ այս ամբողջ ընթացքում երեխաները մեծանում են շատ վատ հոգեվիճակում, որ պապան ու մաման իր տեղը իր հարցերը կլուծեն, ծանոթ-բարեկամ կխառնեն ու կարիք չունի սովորելու իր փոխարեն ամեն ինչ կանեն: Այս ամենի հետևանքը բոլորս լավ ենք պատկերացնում, երբ արդեն հասուն տարիքում հիմանկանում տղաները դառնում են ալարկոտ, դժգոհ ամեն ինչից, այսպես ասած՝ իրենց հարմար աշխատանք չգտնող: Հարգելի ծնողներ, թույլ տվեք, որ ձեր երեխաները նորմալ մեծանան, իրենց կյանք մտնեն ու մի խնդրանք ևս՝ գնահատեք մանկավարժներին:
