«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Երեկ՝ ամբողջ օրը, լարված իրավիճակ էր ՀՀ Սյունիքի մարզում: Վաղ առավոտից սյունեցիները, մի քանի համայնքների ղեկավարներ փակել էին Երեւան-Կապան ավտոճանապարհը, բացատրություն էին պահանջում, թե ինչ անվտանգության երաշխիքներ են իրենց տրվելու, եւ ինչ է սպասվում առաջիկայում, երբ իրենց կհրահանգվի հարակից բարձունքները հանձնել թշնամուն:
Իրավիճակն ավելի լարվեց այն ժամանակ, երբ Կապանի քաղաքապետ Գեւորգ Փարսյանը հայտարարեց, թե այսօր Կապանի եւ 13 գյուղերի բարձունքները հանձնելու են Ադրբեջանին, ինչի համար ժամանակ է տրված մինչեւ այսօր՝ 17:00-ն: Իսկ ի՞նչ դիրքերի մասին է խոսքը:
«ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին հայտնի դարձավ, որ նոյեմբերի 9-ի լույս 10-ի հայտնի ոչ հայանպաստ հայտարարության օրը՝ դեռ մինչեւ փաստաթղթի ստորագրումը, հայկական կողմը նպաստավոր պայմաններով դիրքավորվել է: Եվ, ահա, այսօր, երբ պետք է արդեն սահմանազատման աշխատանքներ իրականացվեն, ստացվել է այնպես, որ հայկական ուժերն ավելի առաջ են կանգնած, քան պետք է, եւ դիրքերից հետ իջնելը դրանով է պայմանավորված:
Խոսքը Կուբաթլուի եւ Զանգելանի հատվածների մասին է, որի շուրջ էլ սպասվող լարվածության մասին խոսել էր նաեւ ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կիրակի օրը տեղի ունեցած անվտանգության խորհրդի ժամանակ:
Երեկ սյունեցիներին հանդիպել է նաեւ նորանշանակ մարզպետ Մելիքսեթ Պողոսյանը, փորձել բացատրել իրավիճակը, ներկայացրել, թե ինչ է լինելու այդ հատվածներում: Իսկ, ահա, նախկին փոխմարզպետ, այժմ «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Նարեկ Ղահրամանյանը հայտել է. «Օդանավակայանի գործարկման հետ կապված խնդիրներ չեն առաջանալու։ Կապան-Ագարակ (գյուղ) ավտոճանապարհը շարունակելու է բնականոն շահագործվել։ ՌԴ սահմանապահներ են տեղակայվելու սահմանի որոշ հատվածներում անվտանգությունը ապահովելու նպատակով (նաեւ Գորիս_Կապան մայրուղի):
Կապանի եւ Սյունիքի անվտանգությանը ոչինչ չի սպառնում: Մնում է սպասել՝ ինչ կլինի այսօր եւ հետագայում, սակայն չի բացառվում՝ մինչ 17:00-ն Սյունիքում կրկին լարված լինի: Նշենք, որ պաշտպանության նախարարը Սյունիքի մարզի համայնքների ղեկավարներին վստահեցրեց, որ ՀՀ տարածքներից որեւէ մետր չի զիջվելու։
