«Ժողովուրդ»-ի տեղեկություններով՝ Ռուսաստանի հայերի միության նախագահ Արա Աբրահամյանը վերջին մեկ ամսում Հայաստանում բազմաթիվ քաղաքական եւ հասարակական ակտիվ գործիչների հետ է հանդիպել՝ փորձելով նրանց համոզել, որպեսզի դառնան իր կուսակցության, թիմի անդամ: Սակայն գործիչների մեծամասնությունը նրան մերժում կամ էլ, առնվազն, խուսափում է համաձայնություն տալ:
Բոլորը հիմնականում մեկ հիմնավորում են բերում՝ վստահության պակասը: Այլ կերպ ասած՝ Արա Աբրահամյանի հայաստանյան շփումները դեռեւս լուրջ արդյունք չեն տվել: Ուստի առավել հավանական է, որ Արա Աբրահամյանի միակ հույսն այդպես էլ կմնա ՕԵԿ նախագահ Արթուր Բաղդասարյանի հետ միավորվելը:
Իհարկե, այս մտադրության մասին կողմերը նախընտրում են լռել, քանի որ շատ լավ գիտակցում են, որ այդ դեպքում, Հայաստանում դժվար կլինի գոնե մեկ մարդու գտնել, որը Արա Աբրահամյանի հետ որեւէ հույս կապի: Բայց այսօր արդեն ակնհայտ է, որ, ի վերջո, նրանք միասին են 2017-ի խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին մասնակցելու»:
