Միջէթնիկ հակամարտությունների փորձագետ Նաիրի Հոխիկյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է. «Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի նկատմամբ գործի դրված այս ագրեսիան նպատակ ունի տիրանալ ամենակարևոր ռազմավարական դիրքին։
     Ըստ «Հետք»-ի ղեկավար Էդիկ Բաղդասարյանի՝ թշնամին գրավել է Դիզապայթ լեռնագագաթը, ավելին, հայկական կողմին արգելվել է դիմադրություն ցույց տալ։ Եթե սա իրականություն է, ապա մենք զրկվեցինք թշնամու նկատմամբ ռազմավարական շատ կարևոր առավելությունից։
     Դիզապայթը մոտ 2500մ․ բարձրություն ունեցող այն լեռն է, որի գագաթից, ինչպես ափի մեջ, տեսանելի են Շուշին, Հադրութը, Ջրականը (Ջեբրայիլը) և Արաքսի ամբողջ հովիտը՝ Իրանի սահմանով հանդերձ։ Դիզապայթ լեռնագագաթի շնորհիվ հայկական կողմը ունի առավելություն թշնամու նկատմամբ և կարող է միշտ ճնշել նրան։
     Պատերազմի հետևանքով յուրատեսակ թերակղզու վերածված այս հատվածը ևս թշնամուն հանձնելու մասին խոսակցություն շատ է եղել նոյեմբեր ամսին, սակայն Արցախը հստակ է պատասխանել՝ այն մտնում է նախկին ԼՂԻՄ-ի մեջ, գտնվում է հայկական ուժերի հսկողության ներքո, հետևաբար չի կարող հանձնվել թշնամուն։
     ՀՀ իշխանությունները այժմ պարտավոր են պատասխանել՝ ի՞նչ է տեղի ունեցել, արդյո՞ք այդ հատվածի մեր զորքին արգելվել է դիմադրություն ցույց տալ, եթե այո, ապա ինչո՞ւ։
     Եթե Դիզապայթը ևս իրականում հանձնվել է թշնամուն, ապա մենք կորցրինք Արցախի վերջին պաշտպանական ամրոցը»։
