Ստորև ներկայացնում ենք հարցազրույցից մի հատված:

- Տևական և երջանիկ հարաբերությունների համար որքանո՞վ է կարևոր, որ զույգընկերներն ունենան ինտելեկտի միևնույն մակարդակը:

Դա բոլորովին պարտադիր չէ... Չկա երաշխիք, որ օժտվածության համապատասխանությունը դրական ազդեցություն կունենա, քանի որ օժտված մարդկանց բնորոշ է համատեղ կյանքի հետ կապված ծայրաստիճան անհանգստությունը: Կան նաև այլ գործոններ, որոնք կարող են խանգարել բարձր ինտելեկտ ունեցող զույգի երջանկությանը: Օրինակ՝ մասնագիտական հանգամանքները: Ենթադրենք, զուգընկերներից մեկը փայլուն հաջողություններ ունի մասնագիտական կյանքում, ինչի արդյունքում սիրելիին զրկում է ուշադրությունից կամ գիտական աշխատանքի պատճառով շատ հաճախ մեկնում է արտերկիր՝ գործուղումների:

- Ինչո՞վ են տարբերվում բարձր IQ ունեցող կանանց և տղամարդկանց սպասելիքները սիրուց

- Կան տարբերություններ, որովհետև որոշակի գծեր, ինչպիսիք են՝ հիպերզգայունությունը, ինքնաիրացման ձգտումը, անկախությունը, պերֆեկցիոնիզմը, կանանց մոտ ավելի վառ են արտահայտված:

Պարզվել է, որ կնոջ արտաքին տեսքը և սեքսուալությունն ավելի կարևոր են բարձր ինտելեկտով տղամարդկանց համար: Կանայք նույնպես կարևորում են այս գծերը, սակայն նրանց մոտ առաջնահերթություններն այլ դասավորություն ունեն:

Կանայք առաջին հերթին տղամարդուց ինտելեկտուալ խթան են ակնկալում: Նրանք զուգընկերոջ մեջ նման ձգտումներ, մշակութային փոխանակություն, ընդհանուր հետաքրքրություններ են փնտրում: Հետաքրքիր է, որ նման կանայք, ասես պայմանավորված կերպով, օգտագործում են հետևյալ արտահայտությունը. «Ես առաջին հերթին մտերիմ ընկեր եմ փնտրում»: Նրանց համար հուզական փոխազդեցությունն ու ընդհանուր արժեքներն ավելի կարևոր են, քան դիպլոմներն ու աստիճանները:

- Ի՞նչ բարդույթներ են բնորոշ ինտելեկտուալ կանանց

Նրանք մշտապես անհանգստանում են՝ մտածելով, որ իրենց ինտելեկտը վանում է երկրպագուներին... Հանդիպումների ժամանակ բարձր IQ-ով կինը իրեն շատ ավելի անինքնավստահ է զգում, քան տղամարդը՝ վախենալով այդպես էլ չհանդիպել համապատասխան մարդուն:

- Ի՞նչ խորհուրդ կտաք բարձր ինտելեկտով կանանց՝ տղամարդկանց հետ ներդաշնակ հարաբերություններ կառուցելու համար

- Մեծ խաղադրույքներ մի՛ կատարեք, զուգընկերոջից ամեն ինչ և միանգամից մի՛ սպասեք: Զրուցեք՝ խուսափելով ճանաչողական մենախոսություններից և գիտական փաստերի առատությունից, որպեսզի չգերլարեք նրա գլխուղեղն ու չազդեք նրա ինքնագնահատականի վրա: Փոխադարձ բարությունը, սիրալիրությունը, հոգատարությունն ու ուշադրությունը միշտ կարևոր են ներդաշնակ հարաբերությունների ձևավորման համար:
