Արցախյան երկրորդ պատերազմին մասնակցած Ղևոնդ Ավետումյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է. «Թե որտեղից թուրքը անարգել հասավ Հադրութ-
Հոկտեմբերի 5-ի լույս 6-ի գիշերը նահանջեցինք Բանաձոր (1): Մոտ 5ժ անձևի տակ ( լետնի հագած թրջվելով) հասանք Բանաձոր կեսգիշերն անց: Լավ սառեցինք գիշերը, թաց շորերը հագներս չորացավ, նոր առավոտյան նոր ձմեռային շորեր վերցեցինք, միացանք 3 հոգով մի ջոկատի: 25 հոգանոց մեր ջոկատով իջանք (կարմիրով) Ջաբրայիլի խաչմերուկի մոտ պարտիզանական պայքարի:
Էստեղ հետաքրքիրը սկսեց. մի քանի րոպե հետո տեսնում ենք, որ թուրքերն են մեքենաներով գալիս մեր եկած ճանապարհով: Մի կես ժամ հետո հրետակոծությունը սկսվեց և թիկունքից և առջևից: Մեզ ձորից միացան Հայաստանի ամենաուժեղ տղերքը, բոյից էին գալիս, ոտքից գլուխ ցեխ, ավտոմատներն ամբողջովին ցեխի մեջ կորած: Էն 18-20 տարեկան տղերքն էին, ովքեր գետնի տակից դուրս էին գալիս ու սկսում փրթել- թափել: Նայում էիր նրանց ու նախանձից մեռնում. հալալ ա, հալալ:
Հրամանատարիս իմացության շնորհիվ երկնքից մեր գլխին թափվող սնարյադների տակից դուրս եկանք: Ի դեպ, հրամանատարս այն հրամանատարն էր, որ համ խելացի էր, համ դուխով ու զինվորին երբեք չէր թողնի (ցավոք ամբողջ պատերազմի ժամանակ իր նման հրամանատարի էլ չեմ հանդիպել, ամեն մեկի մոտ էդ հատկանիշներից մեկը պակասում էր): Մեր արդեն 24 հոգանոց ջոկատով ու ուժեղ Տղերքի հետ նահանջեցիք դեպի Հադրութ: Ճանապարհին ցեխ, անձրև, սնարյադ, սնայպեր ու 8 կգ դարձած վատնիկ (արա էդ շորը ո՞վ ա ստեղծել, ես դրա ...):
Հասանք 2 կետը, որտեղ գտնվում է սիրուն մի լճակ: Նրա գույնը կախարդական էր, այդպիսի լիճ Հայաստանում չկա ու այդպիսի գեղեցկություն ոչ մի տեղ ու ոչ մեկի մոտ չկա: 2 րոպե զմայլվելուց հետո և «անպայման կվերադառնանք» խոստանալուց հետո շարժվեցինք (կրակի տակ էինք):

-Կամանդիր, էստեղ դիրքավորված ոչ մի զինվոր չկա, վաղը մյուս օրը թուրքը էստեղով հանգիստ կհասնի Հադրութ:
Ասեց.
-Գիտեմ Ղևոնդ, բայց մենք բան չենք կարա անենք, գնացինք:
Մոտ 30 կմ քայլելուց հետո մեռած հասանք Հադրութ:
4 օր հետո թուրքը հասավ Հադրութ...

-Ինչու՞ 3 կետում երկայնքով բնագիծ չկար, զինվոր չկար:
-Ինչու՞ էին Ջաբրայիլի զորքը, լիքը կամավորներ Հադրութ քաղաքում ու չէին հանվում 3՝ բնագիծ հիմնելու:
-Մի՞թե էդքան դեբիլ էիք, չէիք հասկանում, որ առանց պաշտպանելու թուրքը այդտեղով ձեռները գրպանները դրած հասնելու է Հադրութ: Իսկ դուք հետո կանգնելու էիք ու ասեք` վայ էս ո՞նց հասան Հադրութ, հասեք փրկե՜ք:
Թուրքը հասավ Հադրութ, մտավ մեր թիկունք ու հաղթեց:
Հադրութը ծախեցին, էս ուղղակի շանտղություն էր»:
