ՌԴ ռազմավարական հետազոտությունների գիտահետազոտական ինստիտուտի ավագ գիտաշխատող, պրոֆեսոր Դենիս Միրգորոդը Свободная Пресса հրատարակությանը տված հարցազրույցում վերլուծել է  Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում Թուրքիայի հավակնությունները և խոսել դրանց հետևանքների մասին:

«Նեոօսմանիզմի և պանթուրքիզմի քաղաքականությունը վաղուց դարձել է Թուրքիայի արտաքին քաղաքականության գերիշխողներ տարրերից մեկը: Լիբիայում և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում տեղի ունեցած վերջին իրադարձությունները միայն հաստատում են Թուրքիայի ներկայիս ղեկավարության մեջ ռևիզիոնիստական տրամադրությունները: Եվ այստեղ ես չէի խոսի ուժեղացման մասին: Սա տվյալ է, որը որոշում է ժամանակակից Թուրքիայի դեմքը, որը փորձում է իրեն ներկայացնել որպես տարածաշրջանային գերտերություն: Տպավորություն է ստեղծվում, որ Անկարան յուրաքանչյուր նոր քայլով ստուգում է իր գործողությունների թույլատրելիությունը»,-ասել է փորձագետը:

Խոսելով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի մասին, Միրգորոդը նշել է.«Իրավիճակը շատ անորոշ է: Կարծում եմ, որ դրա զարգացումը կախված է Ադրբեջանից, որը կարող է թույլ տալ թուրքական զինուժի ներկայությունը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի` իր վերահսկողության տակ անցած տարածքում, ինչը, անկասկած, հարված կհասցնի Կրեմլի վարած արտաքին քաղաքական հեղինակությանը և կբարդացնի մեր խաղաղապահների աշխատանքը: Միևնույն ժամանակ, մենք Թուրքիայի հետ Սիրիայում փոխգործակցության փորձ ունենք`երբեմն հաջող, երբեմն` ոչ այնքան: Այսպիսով, առկա իրողություններում մեր բոլոր դիվանագիտական ջանքերը պետք է ուղղվեն Ադրբեջանին՝ կանխելու Ռուսաստանի համար նոր խնդիրների առաջացումը՝ կապված Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության հետ»:
