Հանրապետության նախագահն, ինչպես արդեն տեղեկացվել է, Մոսկվա է մեկնել մասնավոր այցով։ Ի սկզբանե նախատեսված չի եղել որևէ պաշտոնական հանդիպում, հետևաբար և՝ որևէ նման հանդիպման շուրջ որևէ պայմանավորվածություն չէր կարող քննարկվել։ Այս մասին հայտնում են Հանրապետության նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

«Շարունակելով Սփյուռքի հայկական համայնքների հետ հանդիպումները՝ Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը Մոսկվայում հանդիպել է ռուսաստանահայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ։ Կորոնավիրուսի համավարակով պայմանավորված՝ Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու Ռուսաստանի և Նոր Նախիջևանի թեմի առաջնորդանիստ եկեղեցում տեղի ունեցած հանդիպմանը հրավիրվել են սահմանափակ թվով մարդիկ։ Բոլոր հրավիրյալները՝ շուրջ երեք տասնյակ մարդ, մասնակցել են հանդիպմանը։ Հանդիպման մասնակիցները ցանկացել են անմիջապես Հայաստանի նախագահից տեղեկանալ Արցախի շուրջ վերջին զարգացումների և Հայաստանում ստեղծված իրավիճակի մասին։ Բաց և անմիջական զրույցի ընթացքում, որը տևել է երեք ժամ, տեղի է ունեցել մտքերի անկեղծ փոխանակություն, նախագահին ուղղվել են տարաբնույթ հարցեր, որոնց նախագահ Սարգսյանը հանգամանալից պատասխաններ է տվել։ Հանրապետության նախագահի հանդիպման մասին կտրվի ամբողջական պաշտոնական տեղեկատվություն։

Որոշ լրատվամիջոցներ Հայաստանի նախագահի՝ եկեղեցի այցի և հանդիպման մասին տարածել են մտացածին, իրականության հետ բացարձակապես կապ չունեցող ստահոդ տեղեկություններ։ Հորդորում ենք այս դժվարին և զգայուն ժամանակներում զերծ մնալ սուտ և հնարովի տեղեկատվություն տարածելուց»,- ասված է հաղորդագրության մեջ:
