«Պատերազմի հետևանքով ոչ միայն տարածքային և մարդկային կորուստներ ունեցանք, այլև մշակութային ժառանգության։ Թուրքը, որը դարեր շարունակ յուրացրել կամ ավերել է այլ ազգերի ստեղծած արժեքները, այսօր էլ անում է այն, ինչին սովոր է։
Արցախի Հանրապետության տարածքում են բազմաթիվ պատմության և մշակույթի անշարժ հուշարձաններ, որոնց մի մասն անցնելու է Ադրբեջանին։ Դրանք վտանգված են, քանի որ ագրեսոր պետությունը չի էլ պատրաստվում երաշխավորել դրանց պահպանությունը։
Արդեն իսկ համացանցում նկարներ կան, թե ինչպիսի բարբարոսությամբ են պղծում և ավիրում մեր հուշարձաններն ու եկեղեցիները։ Ամենավերջին դեպքը վերաբերում էր չքնած Շուշիի Կանաչ ժամ եկեղեցուն, որի գմբեթներն արդեն խոնարհված են։
Արցախի պատմամշակութային հուշարձանների ճակատագրով հետաքրքրված են աշխարհի տարբեր երկրների ղեկավարներ և մշակութային, հանրային գործիչներ, մասնավորապես Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Մակրոնը, ինչպես նաև Ֆրանսիայի և Ռուսաստանի մտավորականները։ Մինչ աշխարհն արթնանում է երկամսյա թմբիրից և փորձում փրկել այն, ինչ հնարավոր է, Ադրբեջանն ու Թուրքիան հստակ և հետևողական քայլերով մշակութային ուղղությամբ նույնպես նվաճում են Արցախը»,-գրում է թերթը:
