Հարգելի՛ հայրենակիցներ, զինակի՛ց ընկերներ
Պաշտպանության նախարարությունում և գործադիր իշխանությունում տասնամյակների ծառայությունից հետո այսօր դադարեցնում եմ իմ պաշտոնավարումը պետական համակարգում:
Անկեղծորեն կարծում եմ, որ այն բոլոր գաղափարները, որ կյանքի են կոչվել իմ պաշտոնավարման ժամանակահատվածում ծառայակից ընկերներիս ազնիվ ու նվիրված աշխատանքի արդյունքում, համեստ ներդրում ունեն մեր երկրի պաշտպանական համակարգի զարգացման ու կատարելագործման գործում: Բայց իմ գործունեության որևէ ամփոփում տեղին չէ այսօր, որովհետև ակամայից այդ ամփոփումը դարձավ Արցախյան երկրորդ պատերազմը: Բավարարվա՞ծ եմ պատերազմի ընթացքում և դրա նախապատրաստական փուլում իմ աշխատանքից: Կարծում եմ՝ որոշ հայեցակարգային ուղղություններ վերանայման կարիք ունեն, որ չհասցրի իրագործել, և այս առումով ես պատրաստ եմ կրելու իմ բաժին պատասխանատվությունը:
Բայց հավաստիացնում եմ, որ պաշտպանության նախարարության և զինված ուժերի ամբողջ անձնակազմն առաջնորդվել է հայրենիքի առաջ պատասխանատվության, հանուն հաղթանակի ոչինչ չխնայելու սկզբունքով՝ միշտ անելով առավել, քան պահանջում է ծառայողական ու աշխատանքային պարտքը: Ես առանձնահատուկ շնորհակալության ու մեծարանքի խոսքեր եմ ուզում ուղղել այդ մարդկանց: Մենք միասին անդուլ, հաճախ 24-ժամյա աշխատանքային օրեր ենք անցկացրել ու ոչ միայն այս պատերազմի ժամանակ: Եվ ինձ համար պատիվ եմ համարում, որ հնարավորություն ունեցա երկար տարիներ մի մասնիկը լինելու ֆանատիկ այս թիմի, որը դեռ երկար է ծառայելու հայրենիքին: Համոզմունքս նույնն է՝ Հայոց բանակը ուժեղ է և հզորանալու է ավելի:
Այս պահին պաշտոնավարումս դադարեցնելը կրկնակի դժվար է, քանզի սովորություն չունեմ հեշտ ու ընդունված ճանապարհը բռնելով խուսափելու բարդ իրադրության մեջ հայտնվելուց, եթե նժարին պետությանն ու ժողովրդին ծառայել-չծառայելն է դրված: Նույն սկզբունքով եմ առաջնորդվել նաև 2018 թվականի գարնանը: Բայց ստեղծված իրավիճակը կարիք ունի լիցքաթափման: Եվ ուզում եմ, որ իմ հեռանալն ընկալվի այդ տրամաբանության մեջ:
Խոնարհվում եմ մեր զոհված ընկերների հիշատակի ու նրանց հարազատների առաջ և կուզեի ներողություն խնդրել նաև այն մարդկանցից, ում տածած հույսերը չհաջողվեց ամբողջովին արդարացնել: Բայց ես իմ ծառայությունը ժողովրդին ավարտված չեմ համարում:
