ՌԴ արտգործնախարար արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովն ափսոսանք է հայտնել, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ու Ֆրանսիան «խոցված ինքնասիրություն» են դրսևորում կապված այն բանի հետ, թե ինչպես է կարգավորվել ճգնաժամը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում:

«Ամերիկացի ու ֆրանսիացի գործընկերներիս հետ վերջին օրերին ունեցած շփումներում, ինչպես նաև նախագահ Մակրոնի հետ նախագահ Պուտինի շփումներում ակնհայտ խոցված ինքնասիրություն է նկատվում: Դա շատ ցավալի է»,- ասել է Լավրովը RT հեռուստաալիքի հետ զրույցում:

«Նախ, ես չեմ կարծում, որ այն (Ղարաբաղի հարցը) լուծվեց առանց Միացյալ Նահանգների մասնակցության, քանի որ, իհարկե, երեք համանախագահների ՝ Ռուսաստանի, ԱՄՆ-ի և Ֆրանսիայի դիրքորոշումը, որը նոյեմբերի 9-ին ստորագրված փաստաթղթին նախորդող վերջին ամսվա ընթացքում բազմիցս ներկայացվել է ինչպես նախագահների, այնպես էլ նախարարների և համանախագահող երկրների հատուկ ներկայացուցիչների մակարդակով,  եղել է հօգուտ արյունահեղության անհապաղ դադարեցման և հրադադարի ռեժիմը վերահսկելու մեխանիզմի մշակման, և քաղաքական առումով, հոգեբանորեն ազդել է իրավիճակի վրա»,-ասել է Լավրովը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ չնայած այն ժամանակ կոչերը չունեին նյութական տեսք, կարևոր քաղաքական դեր են խաղացել պայմաններ ստեղծելու համար, որպեսզի ՌԴ նախագահի ջանքերի շնորհիվ կողմերն ի վերջո համաձայնության հասնեն:

«Մի իրավիճակում, երբ խոսքը բառացիորեն րոպեների մասին էր, որոնցից յուրաքանչյուրն իր գինն ուներ՝ մարդկային կյանքերի տեսքով, զանգահարե՞լ Վաշինգտոն, Փարիզ, պայմանավորվե՞լ այն հարցի շուրջ, թե արդյոք նրանք կսատարեն որոշակի ձևակերպումներ ... »,-նշել է Լավրովն ու կարծիք հայտնել, որ այդպիսի պնդումներ  առաջ քաշելը պարզապես սխալ և ոչ էթիկական է:
