Ռուսաստանի, Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների հայտնի հայտարարությունից ընդամենը ժամեր անց թշնամական պետությունները սկսեցին հայտարարել, թե ռուսական խաղաղապահների հետ կանգնելու են նաև թուրք «խաղաղապահները»: Սա նույն օրը հերքեցին թե՛ ՌԴ ԱԳՆ ներկայացուցիչը, թե՛ Հայաստանի վարչապետի մամուլի խոսնակը: Այդուամենայնիվ, թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմը չի հանդարտվում և շարունակում է այս թեզն առաջ մղել: «Փաստ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, այս թեման բավականին բուռն քննարկումների պատճառ է եղել:

Ըստ մեր աղբյուրների, թուրքական «խաղաղապահների» ներկայության գաղափարին ակտիվորեն աջակցում է հավաքական առումով Արևմուտքը, իսկ առավել շահագրգիռ է եղել Ջորջ Սորոսն իր հասարակական և քաղաքական ցանցով: Պատճառը միայն մեկն է՝ թույլ չտալ Ռուսաստանի ազդեցության էլ ավելի մեծացումը տարածաշրջանում: Բայց որպեսզի չափազանց ծայրահեղ չերևա թուրքերի հայտնվելը Արցախում, առաջարկվել է մեխանիզմ, ըստ որի՝ ռուսները «կանգնում» են հայերի կողմից, թուրքերը՝ ադրբեջանցիների, այսինքն՝ հայերը թուրքի երես չեն տեսնում: Սակայն պտտվող տեղեկությունների համաձայն, ռուսական կողմը կտրուկ դեմ է արտահայտվել և կարողացել է կանխել նման մտադրությունները: Գոնե հայտնի հայտարարության մեջ նման որևէ տառ անգամ չկա: Այնտեղ միայն նշված է ՌուսաստանիԴաշնության խաղաղապահների մասին՝ 5 տարի ժամկետով:
