«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է.
Ողջ երկիրն այս օրերին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին եւ նրա ընտանիքի անդամներին է փնտրում։ Անշուշտ, նրանց չի կարելի հանձնել գազազած ամբոխի ձեռքը, բայց մարդիկ իրավունք ունեն իմանալու, թե վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող անձը, որն իր իսկ խոսքերով՝ «լիարժեք շարունակում է կատարել վարչապետի իր աշխատանքը», որտեղ է գտնվում։ Դատելով «լայվերից»՝ դա բավականին ցածր առաստաղով սենյակ է, որտեղ իրեր չեն երեւում, պատուհան չկա։ Հասկանալի է, որ հեռախոսն այնպես է դրվում, որ ինտերիերը չերեւա, եւ մարդիկ չկարողանան իմանալ նրա տեղը։ Բայց մեր աղբյուրն ասում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը գտնվում է պաշտպանության նախարարության շենքում, այսպես կոչված՝ բունկերում, որտեղ ավելի պաշտպանված է զգում իրեն։ Ինչ վերաբերում է ընտանիքի անդամներին, ապա լուրեր են պտտվում, թե Փաշինյանի երկու դուստրերը՝ Մարիամն ու Շուշանը, մոտ մեկ շաբաթ առաջ հեռացել են Հայաստանից, ըստ այդ լուրերի՝ մեկնել են Կանադա։ Թե որտեղ է զորավարժություններ անցկացնում տիկինը՝ Աննա Հակոբյանը, համենայնդեպս, նախօրեին հրապարակված լուսանկարներում նա զինվորական համազգեստով էր եւ զինվորական քնապարկի մեջ, նույնպես գաղտնի է պահվում։ Մինչեւ այս փաստաթղթի հրապարակվելը նա Գորիսում էր, սակայն հրապարակումից հետո, ասում են, լքել է Գորիսը։ Ենթադրաբար, նրա հետ են որդին եւ կրտսեր դուստրը։
