ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը հայտարարել է, որ իր ադրբեջանցի պաշտոնակից Իլհամ Ալիեւը խոստացել է մանրակրկիտ հետաքննություն անցկացնել եւ պատժել ռուսական ուղղաթիռի վրա հարձակման մեղավորներին, հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

«Ադրբեջանի նախագահն ինձ հավաստիացրեց, որ հարուցված քրեական գործի շրջանակներում մանրակրկիտ հետաքննություն կանցկացվի, հանցագործները կպատժվեն»,- ասել է նա պաշտպանության նախարարության ղեկավարության, դաշնային գերատեսչությունների ղեկավարների եւ պաշտպանական արդյունաբերության ձեռնարկությունների ղեկավարների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ:

Պուտինը պաշտպանության նախարար Սերգեյ Շոյգուին հանձնարարել է օգնություն ցուցաբերել Ղարաբաղում ռուսական ուղղաթիռի վրա հարձակման հետեւանքով զոհված զինծառայողների ընտանիքներին:

Պուտինը եւ հանդիպման մասնակիցները մեկ րոպե լռությամբ հարգել են երկուշաբթի Հայաստանի երկնքում խոցված Մի-24 ուղղաթիռի անձնակազմի անդամների հիշատակը:

Նա նաեւ նշել է զոհերի անունները: Ողբերգության հետեւանքով զոհվել են անձնակազմի հրամանատար Յուրի Իշչուկը եւ ավագ լեյտենանտ Ռոման Ֆեդինը:

Նոյեմբերի 9-ին Ադրբեջանի հետ սահմանի մոտ Հայաստանի օդում խոցվել էր ռուսական Մի-24 ուղղաթիռ: Անձնակազմի երկու անդամ զոհվել է, եւս մեկը վիրավորվել է: Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարարությունը խոստովանել է, որ ուղղաթիռը սխալմամբ խոցվել է հանրապետության զինված ուժերի կողմից, եւ հայտարարել է, որ Բաքուն պատրաստ է փոխհատուցում վճարել Մոսկվային:
