Դեռևս հոկտեմբերի 7-ին ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը նշել էր, որ «Հայաստանի ղեկավարությունում որևէ հարց չի առաջանում Ռուսաստանի կողմից իր դաշնակցային պարտավորությունների կատարման որակի վերաբերյալ»:  ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն էլ օրեր առաջ The Jerusalem Post-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել էր. «Ընդհանուր առմամբ կարող եմ ասել, որ Ռուսաստանը, այս իրավիճակում Հայաստանին աջակցելու համար, անում է այն ամենը, ինչ հնարավոր է այս պահին: Եվ Հայաստանն ընդհանուր առմամբ գոհ է Հայաստանի նկատմամբ Ռուսաստանի դաշնակցային պարտավորությունների կատարման որակից»:

Այս առումով ուշագրավ մանրամասներ են հայտնի դարձել past.am-ին: Ըստ մեր տեղեկությունների, այս ամբողջ ընթացքում չի եղել որևէ դիմում կամ խնդրանք, որը Ռուսաստանի կողմից մերժված լինի: Բոլոր հարցերը քննարկվել են բացառիկ օպերատիվությամբ և լուծում ստացել առավելագույն հնարավորության սահմաններում, ինչի արդյունքները ժամանակի ընթացքում իրենց զգացնել են տալիս: Ընդ որում, ուշագրավ է, որ խոսքը ոչ միայն պաշտոնական խողովակների մասին է, այլև այն դիմումների, խնդրանքների  և առաջարկությունների, որոնք արվել են Հայաստանի ոչ իշխանական ուժերի կողմից, որոնք սերտ հարաբերություններ ունեն Ռուսաստանի և այդ երկրի քաղաքական էլիտայի հետ: Ընդ որում, ըստ մեր աղբյուրների, ռուսական կողմից այս փուլում Հայաստանից որևէ տեսակի (այդ թվում՝ ֆինանսական) ակնկալիքի մասին չի էլ ակնարկվել:
