Շուշիի քաղաքապետ Արծվիկ Սարգսյանը վստահեցնում է, որ Շուշին հուսալի ձեռքերում է, որովհետև քաղաքը պաշտպանում է Արցախ-Հայաստան-սփյուռք եռամիասնությունը:

Շուշիի քաղաքապետը, ով գտնվում է քաղաքի պաշտպանության դիրքերում, «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում վստահեցրեց, որ Շուշին շարունակելու է հայերեն խոսել, Շուշիում շարունակելու են ղողանջել Սուրբ Ամենափրկիչ եկեղեցու զանգերը: «Կեղծ լուսանկարներ են տարածում, իբր մզկիթի վրա դրոշ են դրել, բայց, երբ ուսումնասիրում ես, պարզ է դառնում, որ դա կեղծիք է: Թող չմտածեն, որ Շուշին իրենցն է լինելու: Շուշին երբեք իրենցը չի լինի: Մենք պիտի հաղթենք, մենք պիտի ապրենք Շուշիում»,- ասաց Սարգսյանը:

Արծվիկ Սարգսյանն ընդգծեց, որ ադրբեջանցիները մարտի դաշտում միշտ փախել են հայերի առաջ: «Քանի պատերազմի մասնակցել եմ, նրանք դեմներս փախել են, այնպես էին փախչում, չէինք էլ հասցնում տեսնել իրենց: Պահ էր լինում, երբ խաղաղ ժամանակ հանդիպում էինք, ասում էին՝ երբ կցանկանաք հարձակվել, մեզ տեղյակ պահեք, որ փախչենք: Այո, այսօր այդ ազգը չի կռվում, վարձկաններն են կռվում, նրանք էլ ստիպված գալիս են, որովհետև եթե չգան, հետևից են կրակելու: Բայց դա ժամանակավոր է, մոտակա ժամանակահատվածում մենք կտոնենք մեր հաղթանակը»,- նշեց Սարգսյանը:

Շուշիի քաղաքապետը վստահեցրեց, որ քաղաքի պաշտպանության համար ընթացող մարտերում հակառակորդը լուրջ կորուստներ է կրել և շարունակում է կրել:
