Ավստրիայի կանցլեր Սեբաստիան Կուրցը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին համերաշխության և աջակցության խոսքերի համար:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝  կանցլեր Կուրցը Twitter-ում պատասխանել է վարչապետ Փաշինյանի գրառմանը՝ նշելով. «Շատ շնորհակալ եմ ձեր համերաշխության և աջակցության բարի խոսքերի համար: Սա մեզ համար շատ բան է նշանակում այս դժվարին ժամանակներում: Ավստրիային չեն վախեցնի ահաբեկչության նման սարսափելի գործողությունները: Միասին մենք պաշտպանելու ենք մեր բաց հասարակությունները և ժողովրդավարական արժեքները»:

Վիեննայում նոյեմբերի 2-ին զինված մի քանի մարդ կրակոցներ են հնչեցրել քաղաքի 6 տարբեր վայրերում: Հարձակումներից մեկը եղել է սինագոգի մոտ, որտեղ անհայտ անձը մի քանի կրակոց է արձակել և պայթեցրել իրեն: Ընդհանուր առմամբ՝ սպանվել է 4 մարդ, ավելի քան տասը վիրավոր է: Ավստրիայի ՆԳՆ-ն հայտարարել է, որ Վիեննայում տեղի ունեցածն ահաբեկչություն է: Վիեննայում սպանված հրաձիգը «Իսլամական պետություն» (ԻՊ) ահաբեկչական խմբավորման համակիր էր: Ավստրիայի կանցլեր Սեբաստիան Կուրցը Վիեննայի բնակիչներին կոչ էր արել դուրս չգալ տներից՝ նշելով բոլոր միջոցներով պայքարելու են ահաբեկչության դեմ: 

ՀՀ վարչապետը գրել էր. «Մեր աղոթքներն Ավստրիայի ժողովրդի հետ են: Լեռնային Ղարաբաղն արդեն մեկ ամսից ավելի պայքարում է ադրբեջանա-թուրքական ահաբեկչական տանդեմի դեմ: Ես կիսում եմ Ավստրիայի ժողովրդի վիշտը, համբերություն եմ մաղթում զոհվածների ընտանիքներին և շուտափույթ ապաքինում՝ վիրավորներին»:
