«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է.

«ՀՀ առաջին նախագահ Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանը եւ ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը, պատերազմական իրավիճակով պայմանավորված, ինչպես հայտնի է, հանդիպեցին հոկտեմբերի 21-ին։ Նույնիսկ խոսք էր եղել, որ Արցախում ընթացող պատերազմով պայմանավորված՝ երկու նախագահները ցանկություն են ունեցել միասին մեկնել Ռուսաստանի Դաշնություն, սակայն հոկտեմբերի 30-ին անակնկալ հայտնի դարձավ, որ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը վարակվել է կորոնավիրուսով ու Մոսկվա չի մեկնելու:

Ըստ երկրորդ նախագահի գրասենյակի պարզաբանման տրամաբանության՝ հանդիպումը եղել է հոկտեմբերի 21-ին, սակայն Քոչարյանի մոտ հոկտեմբերի 23-24-ին է վարակը հայտնաբերվել։ Ու եթե դրան գումարում ենք վարակվելուց հետո անհրաժեշտ 14 օրյա մեկուսացման ժամանակահատվածը, ստացվում է, որ նոյեմբերի 7-ից շուտ Քոչարյանը չի կարող դուրս գալ երկրից։ Բայց պարզվում է՝ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին թույլատրված էր Հայաստանից դուրս գալ մինչեւ նոյեմբերի 7-ը, ինչը նշանակում է, որ նրա՝ Մոսկվա մեկնելը դառնում է անհնարին:

«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը փորձեց ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի մամուլի պատասխանատու Մանե Գեւորգյանից պարզել, թե ինչու է մինչեւ նոյեմբերի 7-ը սահմանվել Քոչարյանի ելքի ժամանակը, ու արդյոք հնարավոր է ժամանակահատվածը երկարացնել՝ իրավիճակով պայմանավորված: Գեւորգյանը հայտարարեց, որ չի կարող մեկնաբանել, պետք է դիմել ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազություն: Ըստ ամենայնի, Գլխավոր դատախազությունն է՝ ի դեմս Արթուր Դավթյանի, միջնորդել դատարանին, որ Քոչարկանի ելքի թույլտվության հարցը կարգավորվի, բայց կոնկրետ ժամանակահատվաժով։

«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը փորձեց ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազի խորհրդական Գոռ Աբրահամյանից պարզաբանումներ ստանալ, սակայն վերջինս մեր հեռախոսազանգերին այդպես էլ չպատասխանեց: Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի մամուլի պատասխանատու Վիկտոր Սողոմոնյանի հեռախոսն էլ անհասանելի էր, ինչի համար մեզ չհաջողվեց զրուցել նաեւ նրա հետ»:
