Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մոհամադ Ջավադ Զարիֆը մտահոգություն է հայտնել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության գոտում ահաբեկչական խմբավորումների ներկայացուցիչների ներկայության կապակցությամբ՝ հայտարարելով, որ Իրանն իր սահմանների մոտ չի հանդուրժի նրանց ներկայությունը, գրում է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը։

«Մենք գրեթե վստահ ենք, որ ահաբեկիչները մասնակցել են բախումներին: Այդ քայլը ոչ մեկի օգտին չէ»,- ասել է Զարիֆը՝ ի պատասխան ԼՂ հակամարտության գոտում ահաբեկչիչների ներկայության մասին լրագրողների հարցին։

«Այսօր ահաբեկչական խմբավորումների ներկայացուցիչները Իրանի սահմանամերձ շրջաններում չեն, բայց նրանց ներկայության հավանականությունը սահմանի անմիջական հարևանությամբ բարձր է, և Թեհրանն այդ կապակցությամբ իր խիստ մտահոգությունն է հայտնել հակամարտող կողմերին։ Բանակցությունների ընթացքում մենք տեղեկացրել ենք Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի, ինչպես նաև Ռուսաստանի և Թուրքիայի ներկայացուցիչներին, որ Իրանը դա չի հանդուրժի», - հավելել է ԱԳ նախարարը:

Ավելի վաղ IRIB-ին տված հարցազրույցում Զարիֆն ասել էր, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի տարածաշրջանում լարվածության հենց սկզբից Իրանը բանակցութուններ է վարել Հայաստանի, Ադրբեջանի, Ռուսաստանի և Թուրքիայի հետ։

«Կարծում ենք՝ պատերազմն ամենամեծ վնասը կհասցնի տարածաշրջանի երկրներին, ուստի այդ երկրները պատերազմը դադարեցնելու հարցում կարող են առավելագույն ազդեցություն ունենալ»,- ասել էր Զարիֆը՝ ընդգծելով, որ իրենց նախաձեռնությունը նպատակ չունի մրցել կարգավորման ուրիշ մեխանիզմերի, այդ թվում՝ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի հետ։

Նա հավելել էր, որ Իրանի ծրագրի կարևոր առանձնահատկություններից մեկն այն է, որ «վերաբերում է ոչ միայն ժամանակավոր հրադադարին, այլ նաև հակամարտության կարգավորմանը»։

Իրանի ԱԳ նախարարի խոսքով՝ Թեհրանի նախաձեռնության մյուս ասպեկտներից է «մարդկանց իրավունքների ապահովումը», «հաղորդակցության ուղիների հաստատումը» և «տարածաշրջանային երկրների կողմից խաղաղ ծրագրի իրականացման գործընթացի դիտարկումը»:
