«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է.
Այսօր Ժնեւում կկայանա Հայաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարների հանդիպումը Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների հետ: Հանդիպման պայմանավորվածությունը ձեռք էր բերվել Վաշինգտոնում հանդիպումներից հետո, որտեղ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները հայտարարել էին, որ իրենք եւ Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարարները համաձայնել են կրկին հանդիպել հոկտեմբերի 29-ին Ժնեւում՝ քննարկելու, համաձայնեցնելու եւ դեռեւս հաստատվելիք ժամանակացույցի համաձայն սկսելու իրագործել բոլոր անհրաժեշտ քայլերը, որպեսզի, Հայաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների կողմից ընդունված հիմնարար սկզբունքներին համապատասխան, հասնեն ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանը։
Ստացվում է՝ հումանիտար հրադադարի մասին արդեն երեք համաձայնությունները չեն կատարվում, սակայն Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներն արդեն խոսում են հստակ ժամանակացույցի հասնելու մասին, որով պետք է կարգավորվի ղարաբաղյան հակամարտությունը: Այսինքն՝ մտադիր են վաղը Ժնեւում հայտարարել ղարաբաղյան խնդրի հանգուցալուծման հիմնական քայլերը եւ իրականացման ժամանակացույցը՝ հիմնարար սկզբունքների հիման վրա, որոնց մասին պայմանավորվածություն էր ձեռք բերվել դեռ հոկտեմբերի 10-ին Մոսկվայում, իսկ դրանք են տարածքային ամբողջականությունը, ազգերի ինքնորոշման իրավունքն ու առանց կրակի հարցի լուծման հասնելու հնարավորությունը:
Սակայն նկատենք, որ հանդիպմանն ընդառաջ երեկ ադրբեջանական կողմը ավիահարվածներ է հասցրել Շուշի եւ Ստեփանակերտ քաղաքների ուղղությամբ: Բացի քաղաքացիական ենթակառուցվածքներից ու բնակելի շենքերից, հարվածներ է հասցվել նաեւ Ստեփանակերտի ծննդատանը, որի հետեւանքով կան մեծ ավերածություններ: Եվ այս իրավիճակում թերեւս անհասկանալի է, թե ինչ կարելի է ակնկալել այսօր կայանալիք հանդիպումից:
Սակայն նկատենք, որ փորձագետներն այնքան էլ սպասումներ չունեն արտգործնախարարների հանդիպումից եւ կարծում են՝ կրակը կարող են կանգնեցնել միայն երկրի ղեկավարները:
Ռուս փորձագետ, պահեստազորի գնդապետ Վիկտոր Բարանեցը «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի հետ զրույցում նշեց. «Արտաքին գործերի նախարարները Վաշինգտոն էլ գնացին, սակայն ի՞նչ արեցին, վերադարձան եւ կրկին սկսեցին սպանել իրար: ՌԴ-ն իր բոլոր խաղաքարտերն արդեն դրել է սեղանին, ո՞ւր են Վաշինգտոնն ու Փարիզը: Նրանք պետք է երեքով հավաքվեն որեւէ մի վայրում եւ կանչեն այնտեղ Հայաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարներին, որպեսզի վերջիններս ամբողջ աշխարհին ասեն, որ իրենք պատրաստ են կանգնեցել պատերազմը, եւ այդ ժամանակ էլ մենք կարող ենք պատասխանատվություն ունենալ եւ պատժել նրան, ով առաջինն է խախտում հրադադարի ռեժիմը»:
