Վաղուց ժամանակն է, որ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը անմիջապես դիմի Հայաստանի, Ադրբեջանի եւ Թուրքիայի ղեկավարներին՝ անհապաղ դեէսկալացիայի եւ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ադրբեջանական զորքերի առաջխաղացումը կասեցնելու համար: Այս մասին ասվում է նախագահի դեմոկրատ թեկնածու Ջո Բայդենի հայտարարության մեջ:

«Հոկտեմբերի 25-ին ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մայք Պոմպեոյի կողմից հայտարարված հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտումից հետո լայնամասշտաբ հումանիտար աղետը շարժվում է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի բնակչության վրա, որոնք արդեն իսկ չափազանց շատ են տառապել եւ պաշտպանության ու անվտանգության կարիք ունեն: Մեկամսյա ռազմական գործողություններից հետո ժամանակն է, որ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը անմիջապես դիմի Հայաստանի, Ադրբեջանի եւ Թուրքիայի ղեկավարներին՝ անհապաղ դեէսկալացիայի հասնելու եւ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ադրբեջանական զորքերի առաջխաղացումը կասեցնելու համար:

Թեեւ նա պարծենում է նախընտրական հանրահավաքներում գործարքներ կնքելու իր հմտությամբ, Թրամփը ստիպված կլինի անձամբ միջամտել այս պատերազմը դադարեցնելու համար: Վարչակազմը պետք է լիովին կատարի եւ չհրաժարվի Ազատության աջակցության օրենքի 907-րդ բաժնի պահանջներից, որպեսզի դադարեցնի ռազմական տեխնիկայի հոսքը դեպի Ադրբեջան, կոչ անի Թուրքիային ու Ռուսաստանին դադարեցնել հակամարտության բորբոքումը զենքի մատակարարումներով, եւ, Թուրքիայի դեպքում, վարձկաններով:

Միացյալ Նահանգները մեր եվրոպացի գործընկերների հետ պետք է առաջնորդի ռազմական գործողությունները դադարեցնելու դիվանագիտական ջանքերը եւ պահանջի միջազգային մարդասիրական օգնություն՝ տառապանքները վերացնելու համար։ Իմ ղեկավարությամբ մենք հենց դրանով էլ կզբաղվենք»,- ասվում է հայտարարության մեջ:
