«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է.

Երեկ լրացավ 1999 թ․ հոկտեմբերի 27-ի ոճրագործության 21-րդ տարելիցը։ ԱԺ բակում ոճրագործության զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող հոււշակոթողի մոտ ծաղիկներ խոնարհեցին ԱԺ երեք խմբակցությունների պատգամավորները, ԱԺ աշխատակիցներ։ Զոհերի հարազատներից ներկա էր միայն Արմենակ Արմենակյանի այրին՝ Արմինե Արմենակյանը։ Մյուսների հարազատները, այդ թվում՝ սպարապետ Վազգեն Սարգսյանի եղբայրները, Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի որդին կամ այրին, Յուրի Բախշյանի կինը եւ այլք, ներկա չէին։ Նախորդ տարիներին նրանք, սովորաբար, այցելում էին խորհրդարանի բակ։

Ավելի ուշ նկատեցինք, որ Արամ Սարգսյանն այցելել էր Եռաբլուր պանթեոն։ Արմենակ Արմենակյանի այրին մեզ հետ զրույցում ասաց, որ իր համար առեղծված է հոկտեմբերի 27-ի ոճրագործությունը, հատկապես ամուսնու սպանությունը, քանզի ամուսինն այդ պահին դահլիճում չի եղել, սպանվել է նախասրահում։ Նա ասաց, որ իրենք դիմել են նոր իշխանություններին, որ վերաբացվի ու բացահայտվի այդ գործը, որ իրենք հասկանան, թե ովքեր էին կանգնած այդ ամենի հետեւում։ Կառավարությունից էլ ասել են՝ սպասեք։ Գործի քննությունը վերսկսվել է։ «Կարծում եմ, որ մարդասպանները միգուցե եւ կենդանի են, որովհետեւ կոնկրետ Արմենակյանի պահով բոլորն էլ հերքեցին, Կարեն Հունանյանն ասաց՝ ինքը չի սպանել, մյուսներն էլ հերքեցին։ Այդ դեպքում ո՞վ սպանեց Արմենակ Արմենակյանին»,-ասաց տիկին Արմինեն։
