Առողջապահության նախարար Արսեն Թորոսյանը հանդիպել է Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Լին Թրեյսիի հետ:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են կորոնավիրուսային համավարակի տարածման և ռազմական գործողությունների պատճառով բարդացած առողջապահական կացությունը, ծագած խնդիրները և այդ ուղղությամբ համագործակցության հարցերը:

Արսեն Թորոսյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Covid-19-ի դեմ պայքարում Հայաստանին ցուցաբերված աջակցության համար, նշելով, որ ԱՄՆ ՄԶԳ օգնությամբ տրամադրված բոլոր սարքերը, պարագաներն ու թեստերը ծառայում են իրենց նպատակին: Ներկայացնելով իրավիճակը՝ նախարարն ընդգծել է, որ առողջապահական համակարգը հայտնվել է բարդ դրության մեջ, քանի որ իր սովորական աշխատանքից բացի դիմակայում է նաև վերոհիշյալ երկու ծանրագույն մարտահրավերներին:

Լին Թրեյսին կարծիք է հայտնել, որ Հայաստանն արդեն լավ փորձ ունի կորոնավիրուսային հիվանդության դեմ պայքարում, ինչը հնարավորություն է տալիս ավելի հեշտ շարունակելու և բարելավելու բուժման կազմակերպման աշխատանքները: Այդուհանդերձ դեսպանը տեղեկատվություն է խնդրել առողջապահական համակարգի կարողությունների վերաբերյալ: Լին Թրեյսին համաձայնել է, որ Հայաստանի առողջապահական համակարգը նոր մարտահրավերների առաջ է կանգնած, իսկ լուծման համար` հայ բժիշկներին նոր գիտելիքներ են անհրաժեշտ: Նա պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել համապատասխան միջոցներ ձեռնարկել այս առումով:

Միաժամանակ, կողմերը քննարկել են առողջապահական ոլորտում ծագած հումանիտար խնդիրները, կարծիքներ փոխանակել այս ուղղությամբ երկրների միջև փոխգործակցություն ծավալելու առնչությամբ:
