Միացյալ Նահանգների տարածքով ամենամեծ նահանգում՝ Ալյասկայում հայկական համայնքը ցույց է կազմակերպել։ ՀՀ վարչապետի աշխատակազմի «Հանրային կապերի և տեղեկատվության կենտրոն» ՊՈԱԿ-ի սփյուռքի բաժնից, չնայած համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների թիվը փոքր է, սակայն բոլորը ներկա էին բողոքի ակցիային։ «Հայերն իրենց աջակցությունն են հայտնել Արցախին և Հայաստանին, դատապարտել ադրբեջանա-թուրքական ագրեսիան։ 

«Չնայած նրան, որ Ալյասկան Ամերիկայի ամենամեծ նահանգն է, այստեղ մոտավորապես 80 հայ կա, և վստահ չէինք, որ բոլորը կմիանան մեզ, բայց ցույցի ժամանակ այնքան մարդ էր հավաքվել, որ մենք ապշած էինք։ Մեզ հետ էին նաև հույները, ռուսները, ուկրաինացիները և քրդերը»,- ասաց Ալյասկայի ցույցի կազմակերպիչներից Եվա Շարփը։

Արցախի դրոշներով ու պաստառներով հայերը Ալյասկայի բնակիչներին պատմել են, թե իրականում ինչ է կատարվում Արցախում։ Ցույցի կազմակերպիչներից Կարինե Վարդանյանի ամուսինը պատերազմի առաջին օրը մեկնել է Հայաստան.

«Երբ ամուսինս լսեց, որ Հայաստանում վիճակը լավ չէ, ասաց, որ լավ ժամանակ Հայաստանը վայելել է, հիմա էլ այս դժվար պահին պետք է գնա ու  հայ ժողովրդի կողքին լինի»։

Սփյուռքում ապրող հայի համար շատ կարևոր է, որ յուրաքանչյուր աջակցություն ժամանակին տեղ հասնի, կազմակերպվել է նաև հանգանակություն և հավաքված գումարը նվիրաբերվել է «Հայաստան» համահայկական հիմնադրամին։
