Թուրքիայի փոքր հայկական համայնքը ճնշման տակ է Ղարաբաղյան հակամարտությունում Անկարայի կողմից Ադրբեջանին ցուցաբերվող աջակցության կապակցությամբ: Ստամբուլի հայկական թաղամասերում բախումների սկսվելուց հետո Ադրբեջանի դրոշներով ավտոերթ տեղի ունեցավ, իսկ որոշ պաշտոնական հայկական կայքեր արգելափակվեցին:

Ստամբուլում տեղակայված հայ համայնքի մոտ 60.000 անդամ դժգոհություն է հայտնել ատելության խոսքի կապակցությամբ` սեպտեմբերի 27-ին ռազմական գործողությունների սկսվելուց հետո, որոնց հետեւանքով հարյուրավոր մարդիկ են զոհվել, եւ թուլացման ոչ մի նշան չկա:

«Ես չեմ համարձակվում տանը հեռուստացույց միացնել, քանի որ այնտեղ ատելության խոսք է տարածվում, ես անհանգստացած եմ հայերին որպես թշնամի ներկայացնելու կապակցությամբ,- AFP-ին ասել է Ստամբուլում բնակվող հայազգի Սիլվա Օզյորլին:- Մենք գին ենք վճարում, քանի որ պետությունը, բյուրոկրատիան եւ լրատվամիջոցները մարգինալացման, թշնամանքի տարածման են ձգտում, եւ ես ինձ պատանդ եմ զգում: Դա շատ ցավալի է: Ես ինձ այս երկրի քաղաքացի եմ զգում, ինչու՞ եք ստիպում ինձ պատանդ զգալ»:

«Մենք դժվար ժամանակներ ենք ապրում»,- AFP-ին ասել է «Ակոս» թուրքահայ շաբաթաթերթի գլխավոր խմբագիր Էդվարդ Դանզիկյանը: Ըստ նրա` իրավիճակն ավելի մռայլ է, քան 1990-ականների հակամարտության ժամանակ: «Երեկոյան միացնում եք լրատվական հեռուստաալիքները, որոնք անընդհատ բաղավում են Հայաստանի մասին: Դա, բնականաբար, լարում է Թուրքիայում գտնվող հայերին,- ասել է նա:- Ինչի՞ առաջ ենք կանգնելու, երբ դուրս գանք փողոց: Այո, մենք ֆիզիկական հարձակում չենք սպասում, բայց դա նույնպես կարող է տեղի ունենալ»: «Այս աճող ազգայնական հռետորաբանությունը մտահոգիչ է»,- ասել է Դանզիկյանը` հավելելով, որ համայնքն «իրեն ճնշման տակ է զգում»:

«Անկեղծ ասած` մենք խորտակվում ենք: Աստիճանաբար, օրեցօր, ժամ առ ժամ մենք խորտակվում ենք: Մենք խորտակվում ենք ձեր ատելության մեջ»,- ասել է 2007 թվականին թուրք ազգայնականի կողմից սպանված Հրանտ Դինքի դուստրը:

Քրդամետ «Ժողովուրդների ժողովրդավարություն» կուսակցության հայազգի պատգամավոր Կարո Փայլանը կառավարությանը կոչ է արել «կրակի վրա յուղ չլցնել» Ղարաբաղում: «Այս պատերազմում հաղթողներ չեն լինի,- ասել է նա AFP-ին:- Ցավոք, պատերազմին դիմակայելը բավական է Թուրքիայում թիրախավորվելու համար»: Ըստ նրա` եթե իր հետ ինչ-որ բան պատահի, կառավարությունը պետք է պատասխանատվության ենթարկվի ատելության խոսքի համար: «Այսպիսի մթնոլորտում մենք կորցրեցինք Հրանտ Դինքին: Միայն խաղաղության մթնոլորտն ու ժողովրդավարական Թուրքիան կարող են ապահովել իմ անվտանգությունը,- ասել է նա:- Հակառակ դեպքում մեզանից ոչ ոք ապահով չէ»:
