ՀՀ առաջին արտգործնախարար Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանը «Թուրքիան նոր վայրագություններ է իրականացնում հայերի նկատմամբ» խորագրով հոդված է հրապարակել New York Post պարբերականում:
«Աշխարհի հեռավոր մի անկյունում` չճանաչված հանրապետությունում, որը շատ քարտեզների վրա չես գտնի, երկու շաբաթ առաջ եկեղեցի է հրթիռակոծվել։
Հայկական և ադրբեջանական ուժերն այժմ անդադրում պատերազմի 25-րդ օրն են թևակոխում՝ մի երկրի համար, որը հայերը կոչում են Արցախ, իսկ ադրբեջանցիները վաղուց Ղարաբաղ են կոչել, ինչը նշանակում է «սև այգի»։
«Մինչ հրադադարը ձախողվում է, հայկական և ադրբեջանական զորքերն ու խաղաղ բնակիչները միակը չեն, որոնք զոհվում են հինավուրց լեռներում ու փախչում եդեմ հիշեցնող այս դաշտերից։ Այստեղ ցրված են սիրիացի վարձկանների ծվենները, իսրայելական ԱԹՍ-ները, թուրքական ուղղաթիռների ու ռուսական ռումբերի բեկորները, որոնց պայթյուններից սկիզբ է առնում անկանխատեսելի տարածաշրջանային պատերազմ:
Կան նաև այլ գործող ուժեր։ Շուշիի Սուրբ Ամենափրկիչ Ղազանչեցոց մայր տաճարը հրթիռակոծվելուց ժամեր անց կրկին ենթարկվեց հրթիռակոծության։
Եկեղեցի հրթիռակոծելն առանձնահատուկ իմաստ և հիշողություն ունի։ Ռմբակոծված սրբավայրն այնպիսի փոշի է բարձրացնում, որը հողմ է դառնում և, անգամ, ամենաարդիական մտածողությամբ հային քշում է ավելի քան մեկ դար հետ` դեպի 1915 թվական։
Դա այն տարեթիվն է, երբ Օսմանյան Թուրքիայի կառավարությունը սկսել էր համակարգված տեղահանումը, հավատափոխության փորձը և, ի վերջո, միլիոնուկես քրիստոնյա հայերի կոտորածը։
Հայաստանի մի փոքրիկ պատառը հրաշքով վերապրեց Ցեղասպանությունը` նախ որպես անկախ հանրապետություն, իսկ հետո, քանզի պատմությունը երբեք առատաձեռն չէ, իբրև Խորհրդային Հայաստան։ Մի քանի տարի անց Հայաստանն էլ ավելի բզկտվեց»,- գրում է Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանը։
Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանն անդրադարձել է նաև Իոսիֆ Ստալինի կողմից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը Խորհրդային Ադրբեջանին շնորհելուն, Խորհրդային Միության փլուզումից հետո բոլորի նման Արցախի՝ անկախանալու բնական ցանկությանը, անկախության հռչակմանը, Ադրբեջանի՝ «համեղ պատառից» չհրաժարվելուն և առաջին պատերազմին:
«Եվ ահա 2020-ի սեպտեմբերի 27-ին Ադրբեջանը, Թուրքիայի ֆինանսավորմամբ, նրա զինամթերքով ու առաջնորդությամբ, հարձակում գործեց Արցախի վրա։ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը չփորձեց անգամ թաքցնել իր գործուն միջամտությունը պատերազմին։ Այս տարվա սկզբին թուրք-ադրբեջանական համատեղ զորավարժությունների ժամանակ նա հայերին կոչեց kılıç artığı, ինչը նշանակում է «թրի մնացորդներ»։
Այժմ էլ քրիստոնյաները կրկին վտանգի մեջ են։ Ցեղասպանությունը կրկին պաշարել է «սև այգին»,- գրել է Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանը:
