Աշխատանքային այցով Բրյուսելում գտնվող՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն այսօր հանդիպել է Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելի հետ:

 

Հայաստանի նախագահը մանրամասնորեն անդրադարձել է սեպտեմբերի 27-ից սկսած՝ Արցախի Հանրապետության նկատմամբ Ադրբեջանի սանձազերծած լայնածավալ ռազմական ագրեսիային, դրանում Թուրքիայի ներգրավվածությանն ու ռազմաքաղաքական օժանդակությանը:

 

«Սեպտեմբերի 27-ին Ադրբեջանը որոշեց հրաժարվել խաղաղ բանակցային գործընթացից և պատերազմ սանձազերծել, իսկ Թուրքիան նրան լիակատար քաղաքական, դիվանագիտական, ռազմական աջակցություն է ցուցաբերում»,-նշել է նախագահ Սարգսյանը:

 

«Բռնությունը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում պետք է դադարեցվի»,-ասել է Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելը: Նա հետաքրքրվել է հակամարտության համատեքստում տեղի ունեցող տարածաշրջանային զարգացումներով։ Հայաստանի նախագահը հանգամանորեն ներկայացրել է իրավիճակը՝ նշելով, որ Թուրքիայի քաղաքականությունը տարածաշրջանում ապակայունացնող է և լուրջ սպառնալիք՝ տարածաշրջանի կայունության ու անվտանգության համար։

 

Զրուցակիցներն իրենց խորը մտահոգությունն են հայտնել շարունակվող ռազմական գործողությունների առնչությամբ, ինչը կարող է հանգեցնել մեծ հումանիտար աղետի։ Շառլ Միշելն ասել է, որ պետք է հարգել հրադադարը և առանց նախապայմանների վերադառնալ բանակցային սեղան:

 

Նախագահ Սարգսյանը շատ կարևոր է համարել, որ միջազգային գործընկերներն ամբողջությամբ հասկանան հակամարտության էությունը և պատերազմը դադարեցնելու հստակ կոչ հնչեցնեն։ «Հրադադարը բացարձակ անհրաժեշտություն է, իսկ Թուրքիան պետք է դուրս գա այս հակամարտությունից»,-ընդգծել է Հայաստանի նախագահը:
