«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. ««Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկություններով՝ Բարձրագույն դատական խորհուրդը երկուշաբթի օրը Վճռաբեկ դատարանի բոլոր դատավորներին հրավիրել է հանդիպման, եւ քննարկելու են ընդհանուր հարցեր, այդ թվում՝ Վճռաբեկ դատարանի նախագահի ընտրության հարցը: Մեր տեղեկություններով՝ շատ դատավորներ արդեն իսկ ասել են, որ չեն գնալու, իսկ մյուսներն էլ ասել են, որ կգնան զուտ հետաքրքրության համար՝ հասկանալու, թե ինչ է սպասվում: Անկախ նրանից՝ ովքեր կգնան, ովքեր՝ ոչ, նախատեսված ժամկետն ավարտվում է, եւ Բարձրագույն դատական խորհուրդը պետք է ներկայացնի Վճռաբեկ դատարանի նախագահի թեկնածու:

Նկատենք, որ գործընթացը պետք է մեկնարկեր դեռ նախորդ շաբաթ, սակայն հետաձգվել էր, եւ դատավորներն ասել էին, թե այս պատերազմական իրավիճակում սիրտ չունեն այդպիսի հարցեր քննարկելու:

Նկատենք, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դատական օրենսգրքի հոդված 135-ի համաձայն՝ Դատական դեպարտամենտը պետք է կազմի եւ Բարձրագույն դատական խորհուրդ ներկայացնի Վճռաբեկ դատարանի բոլոր այն դատավորների ցուցակը, որոնք տվյալ դատարանում ունեն ոչ պակաս, քան երեք տարվա դատավորի փորձառություն, չունեն կարգապահական տույժ, չեն պաշտոնավարել Վճռաբեկ դատարանի նախագահի պաշտոնում եւ Բարձրագույն դատական խորհրդի անդամ չեն»։
