«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Արցախյան պատերազմի օրերին դավաճանների թեման շարունակում է արդիական մնալ, եւ առաջիկայում, հնարավոր է, այն ձնագնդի էֆեկտ ունենա, ու նոր բացահայտումներ լինեն:
Նախ՝ հիշեցնենք, որ նախօրեին ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ուշագրավ հայտարարությամբ հանդես եկավ. «Մի քանի օր առաջ ահազանգ ստացա, թե առաջնագծի հատվածներից մեկում ինչ-որ մարդիկ գնացել, կռվող զինվորներին համոզել են, թե «Նիկոլը հողերը ծախել է, թե սա իրականում պայմանավորված պատերազմ է, ձեզ էստեղ բերել-մսաղացի մեջ են գցել, որ կոտորեն, որ պայմանավորվածությունը չերեւա, դիրքերը պահելը իմաստ չունի»»:
Ապա պարզ դարձավ, որ ԱԱԾ-ում սկսված հետաքննության արդյունքում Երեւանում ձերբակալվել է Ստեփանակերտի բնակիչ Ն.Մ-ն: Եվ, ահա, «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկություններով՝ այս գործի շրջանակներում դիտարկվում են եւ ուշադրության կենտրոնում են հայտնվել ոչ միայն Արցախ մեկնած ինչ-ինչ անձինք, այլ նաեւ քաղաքական շրջանակներից որոշ գործիչներ:
Եվ այս առումով ուշադրության էր արժանի երեկ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանի ճեպազրույցում արված նրա հայտարարություններից մեկը՝ կապված դավաճանության դեպքի հետ: Նա, այսպես ասած, ակնարկեց, որ դավաճանների թվում չեն կարող լինել ԲՀԿ-ի կամ «Լուսավոր Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավորները: «Շատ շուտով մենք կիմանանք հստակ անուններ:
Մեր համաքաղաքացիները հոյակապ գիտեն՝ ինչի, ում մասին է խոսքը: Դուք տեսնում եք, որ, օրինակ, մենք ունենք «Լուսավոր Հայաստանի» ու ԲՀԿ-ի հետ խնդիրներ, բայց նրանց մոտ այդ գիտակցումը կա, եւ միասնականություն կա, բայց կան մարդիկ, որոնք փորձել ու փորձում են», – նշեց Ալեն Սիմոնյանը: Այստեղից կարող ենք եզրակացնել, որ առաջիկայում սպասվում են ձերբակալություններ խորհրդարանական ուժերի շրջանակներից դուրս, իսկ թե որքանով է հիմնավորված դավաճանության հիմքով հարուցված քրեական գործը, որը ենթադրում է 15 տարվա ազատազրկում, ցույց կտա ժամանակը:
Հավելենք՝ «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը հայտնել էր, որ ձերբակալված անձն իր ցուցմունքում ասել էր, թե ինքը չի հորդորել զինվորներին դիրքերը լքել կամ նահանջել, այլ ընդամենը կարծիք է հայտնել, թե ինչ է մտածում պատերազմի վերաբերյալ»։
