Ողջ օրվա ընթացքում սահմանի ամբողջ երկայնքով համառ մարտեր են տեղի ունեցել, հատկապես՝ հարավային ուղղությամբ: Այս մասին հոկտեմբերի 7-ի երեկոյան կայացած ճեպազրույցում ասաց ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության ներկայացուցիչ Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ մարտերը շարունակվում են գիշերը: Պաշտպանության բանակին հաջողվել է հարվածներ հասցնել մի քանի ուղղություններով: Հակառակորդը կենդանի ուժի եւ տեխնիկայի զգալի կորուստներ է ունեցել: «Բազմաթիվ տեսանյութեր կան, որոնք ցույց են տալիս, թե ինչպես են հակառակորդի շարասյուները ջախջախվել եւ փախել: Որոշ դիրքեր վերադարձնելու եւ 19 զինծառայողներին փրկելու մասին տեղեկատվությունն արդեն հրապարակվել է: Մեր զորքերը փայլուն են կատարում իրենց առաջադրանքները»,- ասաց Հովհաննիսյանը:

Պատասխանելով այն հարցին, թե վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն իր հարցազրույցներից մեկում ասել է, որ հաղթանակի հիմքը դրվում է, Հովհաննիսյանը հաստատեց, որ ընթանում են մարտեր, որոնք բեկումնային կդառնան: «Ցերեկային ու գիշերային համառ մարտերը շարունակվում են ուժերի մեծ ներգրավմամբ: Տրամաբանական ավարտին կարելի է հասնել առաջիկա ժամերի կամ օրերի ընթացքում: Այս օրերը պատմության մեջ կգրվեն ոսկե տառերով: Մի փոքր համբերություն»,- հորդորեց ՊՆ ներկայացուցիչը:

Խոսելով հակառակորդի կորուստների մասին` Հովհաննիսյանը նշեց, որ այսօր, ըստ ամենահամեստ գնահատականների, կեսօրին թշնամին կորցրել է 260-280 զինծառայող եւ ահաբեկիչ, ոչնչացվել է 60-80 զրահամեքենա, հակառակորդը լքել է մի քանի տասնյակ ամբողջական տեխնիկա: «Բայց մարտերը շարունակվում են, եւ ես չեմ կարող վերջնական թվեր նշել: Համոզված եմ՝ ավելին կլինի»,- ասաց Հովհաննիսյանը: Նա հայտարարեց, որ վերջին 20-30 տարվա ընթացքում տարածաշրջանում այդպիսի խտության ռազմական գործողություններ գրեթե չեն եղել, որտեղ ներգրավված է եղել այդքան մեծ թվով անձնակազմ եւ սարքավորում: Ինչ վերաբերում է այս կամ այն դրվագին, ապա անտեղի է խոսել այդպիսի մասշտաբով որոշակի մարտավարական դրվագների մասին: Երբ գործողություններն ավարտվեն, եւ լինեն կոնկրետ արդյունքներ, այդ ժամանակ գնահատական կտրվի»,- ասաց Հովհաննիսյանը:

ՊՆ ներկայացուցիչը հայտարարեց, որ մարտական անօդաչու թռչող սարքերը եւ հրթիռները դարձել են հակառակորդի համար ամենաարդյունավետ միջոցները: Այնուամենայնիվ, Հովհաննիսյանը լուրջ կասկած հայտնեց, որ անօդաչու թռչող սարքերը շահագործվում են ադրբեջանցի մասնագետների կողմից՝ առանց արտաքին օգնության: «Մարտական անօդաչու թռչող սարքերի հաջողությունը քանակի մեջ է: Բայց սա էլ նրանց չօգնեց: Մեր հակաօդային պաշտպանությունը շատ արդյունավետ է: Եվ անօդաչու թռչող սարքերի ամբողջ արդյունավետությամբ դրանք կարող են օգտագործվել կամուրջ պայթեցնելու կամ սարքավորումներն անջատելու համար, բայց առավելության կարելի է հասնել միայն ցամաքային ուժերով: Եվ այստեղ նրանք պարծենալու բան չունեն»,- եզրափակեց Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը:
