Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ստեղծված իրավիճակը վերաբերում է ոչ միայն Հայաստանին, այլև ամբողջ Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանին և նույնիսկ ամբողջ աշխարհին: Այս մասին ի պաշպանություն Արցախի Ալֆորվիլում կազմակերպված ակցիայի ժամանակ ասաց Ֆրանսիայի 24-րդ նախագահ Ֆրանսուա Օլանդը:
«Տարիներ շարունակ շփման գծում եղել են դեպքեր, որոնք բազմաթիվ մահերի պատճառ են հանդիսացել: Բայց այսօր շփման գծի կոնֆլիկտի առջև չենք, այլ ավելի լուրջ իրադարձության` մենք պատերազմի առջև ենք: Այո, իրական պատերազմի, որը սկսվել է Ադրբեջանի կողմից, բայց կարող է շարունակվել Թուրքիայի օժանդակությամբ: Թուրքիան, որը զենք-զինամթերքից բացի, Ադրբեջան է ուղարկում նաև սիրիացի և լիբիացի վարձկաններին: Այսօր իրավիճակը ավելի է սրվել, թիրախավորվել է քաղաքացիական բնակչությունը: Սա միայն էսկալացիա չէ, սա ամբողջ Կովկասի ապակայունացում է»,- ընդգծեց Օլանդը:
Ֆրանսիայի 24-րդ նախագահի խոսքով` իր երկիրն ունի հատուկ պատասխանատվություն՝ որպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ, և պետք է շարունակի այն կրել: «Եվրոպական խորհուրդը պետք է բանաձև ընդունի և պարտադրի կողմերին հրադադար հաստատել, բայց նաև միջոցներ պետք է ձեռնարկվեն Թուրքիայի վերաբերյալ, որովհետև Թուրքիայի ամբողջ ռազմավարությունն է պատճառը, որ այսօր իրավիճակը այդպիսին է»,- նշեց Օլանդը:
Նրա համար անհասկանալի է, թե ինչպես կարող է ՆԱՏՕ-ն թույլ տալ իր անդամ երկրին Միջերկրական ծովում Հունաստանի նկատմամբ ոտնձգություններ, Սիրիայում տարածքներ գրավել և հարձակվել քրդերի վրա, ինչպես է ՆԱՏՕ-ն հանդուրժում, որ Թուրքիան մտնի Կովկաս և հրահրի ռազմական գործողություններ: «Կարճ ասած՝ այսօր նա Հայաստանում է, Ղարաբաղում, բայց վաղը կարող է լինել Բալկաններում, եթե ոչինչ չանենք: Ինչպես կարող ենք թույլ տալ Թուրքիային մնալ ՆԱՏՕ-ի կազմում, մի դաշինքի, որը հիմնված է ազատության և ժողովրդավարության սկզբունքի վրա: Այսօր եկել է պատասխանատվության ժամանակը և այն եկել է Եվրոպա և ոչ մի շանտաժ չի կարող գործի դրվել Եվրոպայում»,- եզրափակեց Օլանդը:
