«Ինքը հագնվել է, ես իրեն ասել եմ՝ հա, տղա ջան, զինվորական հագուստդ հագի և գնա։ Ես իրեն ասել եմ՝ քեզ պաշտում եմ, բայց հայրենիքի համար զոհվելուց ավելի վեհ բան էս աշխարհում չկա։ Ես մեքենայի մեջ՝ Ստեփանակերտ գալու ճանապարհին իմ որդուն դա եմ ասել, որովհետև չգիտեի՝ ի՞նչ վիճակ է, մտածել եմ՝ կարող է կապ չունենանք, էդ կապը կտրվի։ Ես եկել եմ Ստեփանակերտ այն մտքով, որ հնարավոր է չկարողանամ Երևան վերադառնամ որոշ ժամանակով և կարող է իմ տղայի հետ հեռախոսային կապ չունենամ»,- ասաց նա։
Աննա Հակոբյանը հավելեց, որ այս պահին իր որդուն չեն տարել, բայց ինքը դա ասել է «առաջիկայի՝ ամբողջ կյանքի համար»։
«Ոչ մի հանգամանք իմ մեջ՝ որպես մայր, էդ խոսքը չի փոխի, ո՛չ այսօր, ո՛չ մի տարի հետո, ո՛չ էլ տասը տարի հետո։ Գիտեմ, որ հարյուր հազարներից մեկն եմ որպես կին և մայր, և դա է մեր հաղթանակը»,- նշեց Աննա Հակոբյանը։
