«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է․ «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկություններով՝ երեկ Սահմանադրական դատարանում աշխատանքային առաջին նիստը ավելի քան թեժ է անցել, սակայն առանց բովանդակային քննարկումների: Ինչպես հայտնի է, այդ նիստում պետք է կայանային Սահմանադրական դատարանի նախագահի եւ փոխնախագահի ընտրություններ, սակայն, մեր տեղեկություններով, հարցը անգամ չի հասել թեկնածուներ առաջադրելու փուլին։

ՍԴ նախկին նախագահ, ՀՀԿ-ի սիրելի Հրայր Թովմասյանն ու «Իմ քայլի» կողմից ՍԴ գործուղված, սակայն Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի սիրելի Վահե Գրիգորյանը, կարծես թե, կոալիցիա են կազմել եւ միահամուռ առաջ քաշել Արման Դիլանյանի թեկնածությունը՝ «Եթե հնի դեմ էիք պայքարում, ուրեմն պիտի ՍԴ նոր նախագահը նոր լինի, գոնե՝ Արման Դիլանյանը» հիմնավորմամբ։

«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի աղբյուրները փոխանցում են, որ անգամ միմյանց վիրավորելու աստիճանի վիճել են կողմերը։ Մենք դեռ երեկ գրել էինք, որ ՍԴ անդամներից շատերն այնքան էլ կողմ չեն ՍԴ նախագահի պաշտոնում Երվանդ Խունդկարյանի թեկնածությանը, եւ երեկ էլ, կարծես թե, միտումնավոր ձգձվել է հարցի քննարկումը։ Կհարցնեք՝ ինչ էին անում 5 ժամ փակ դռների հետեւում։ Պատասխանը հետեւյալն է՝ քննարկում էին խնդիրը՝ այդ նիստը դռնբաց կամ դռնփակ անցկացնելու վերաբերյալ։

ՍԴ նորընտիր անդամներ Էդգար Շաթիրյանն ու Արթուր Վաղարշյանը ընդգծված չեզոքություն են պահպանել, այսինքն՝ երկրի քաղաքական ղեկավարության համար ցանկալի ՍԴ նախագահի թեկնածու Երվանդ Խունդկարյանը միայնակ է մնացել ՍԴ-ում։ Բայց, չնայած այս իրավիճակին, անակնկալներ հնարավոր են։ Ամեն դեպքում, այսօր սպասվում է, որ հենց առավոտյան ՍԴ անդամները միանգամից պետք է անցնեն թեկնածուների ընտրության հարցին»:
