«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է․ «ՀՀ Վճռաբեկ դատարանում աշխատելու համար մրցակցությունն օրեցօր ահագնանում է: Ինչպես հայտնի է, Վճռաբեկ դատարանի նախագահ Երվանդ Խունդկարյանը Սահմանադրական դատարանի անդամ ընտրվեց, եւ այսօր թափուր է ինչպես այդ նախագահի, այնպես էլ Վճռաբեկ դատարանի քաղաքացիական պալատի դատավորի տեղը, քանի որ Երվանդ Խունդկարյանը, բացի դատարանի նախագահ լինելուց, նաեւ քաղաքացիական պալատի դատավոր էր:
Եվ, ահա, մեզ հասած տեղեկությունների համաձայն՝ ՀՀ վերաքննիչ եւ առաջին ատյանի դատարանների շատ դատավորներ ցանկություն ունեն գնալ Վճռաբեկ դատարան եւ դառնալ քաղաքացիական պալատի դատավոր:
Մասնավորապես, դատական համակարգում տարածված լուրերի համաձայն՝ ցանկություն ունեն Երվանդ Խունդկարյանի տեղը դատավոր գնալ ՀՀ վարչական վերաքննիչ դատարանի դատավոր Հովսեփ Բեդեւյանը, ՀՀ վերաքննիչ քաղաքացիական դատարանի նախագահ Արսեն Մկրտչյանը եւ այլ դատավորներ:
Սակայն դատական համակարգում լուրեր կան, որ դատավորները վախենում են ռիսկի դիմել : Ինչո՞ւ. որովհետեւ Վճռաբեկ դատարանի դատավորը պետք է առաջին փուլ անցնի եւ ընտրվի ԲԴԽ-ի կողմից, որից հետո ԲԴԽ-ն նրան պետք է ներկայացնի Ազգային ժողովի դատին, որի քվեարկությունից էլ կախված կլինի՝ ի վերջո դատավորը կարող է Վճռաբեկի դատավոր դառնալ, թե ոչ: Երվանդ Խունդկարյանի փոխարեն Վճռաբեկի դատավոր ցանկացող դատավորները չգիտեն՝ եթե ցանկություն հայտնեն դառնալ Վճռաբեկ դատարանի դատավոր, ինչ ճակատագիր կսպասվի իրենց Ազգային ժողովում»:
