ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի կարծիքով՝ առաջիկա ընտրություններում դեմոկրատների իր մրցակից Ջոզեֆ Բայդենին չի բավականացնի խելամտությունը, որ բանակցություններ վարի Ռուսաստանի ու Չինաստանի առաջնորդներ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի եւ Սի Ցզինպինի հետ։ Սպիտակ տան ղեկավարն այս մասին ասել է կիրակի՝ Հենդերսոն քաղաքում (Նեւադա նահանգ) իր կողմնակիցների առջեւ ելույթ ունենալիս, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Ես հնարավորություն եմ ունեցել ծանոթանալու Չինաստանի նախագահ Սիի (Ցզինպին) հետ, ես հնարավորություն եմ ունեցել ծանոթանալու Ռուսաստանի նախագահի (Վլադիմիր) Պուտինի հետ։ Եվ, ի դեպ, նրանց հետ լեզու գտնելը լավ է»,- նշել է Թրամփը։

«Չնայած ուզում եմ ձեզ ասել, որ հիմա Չինաստանի հետ խնդիրն այն պատճառով է, ինչ որ նրանք մեզ հետ արել են։ Մենք երբեք չենք կարողանա դա մոռանալ։ Մենք հոյակապ համաձայնագիր էինք կնքել, բայց թանաքը դեռ չէր հասցրել չորանալ, երբ Չինաստանից հիվանդությունը եկավ»,- հավելել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը։ Թրամփն ավելի վաղ բազմիցս հայտարարել էր, որ Չինաստանին է պատասխանատու համարում կորոնավիրուսի համաճարակը սկսվելու համար։

«Ես գործ ունեմ այս բոլոր մարդկանց հետ, եւ․․․ նրանք անչափ խելամիտ են»,- շեշտել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը։ «Ցավում եմ, բայց մեզ անհրաժեշտ են շատ խելամիտ մարդիկ, եւ Ջոն չի համապատասխանում այդ պաշտոնին»,- վստահ է Սպիտակ տան ղեկավարը։

Թրամփը նախկինում բազմիցս ասել է, որ ճիշտ է համարում Մոսկվայի ու Պեկինի հետ «լեզու գտնելը»։ Չնայած սահմանված հակառուսական պատժամիջոցներին, երկրի նախագահը մշտապես շեշտում է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Ռուսաստանի միջեւ «շատ լավ հարաբերություններ» են հաստատվել։
