Հնդկաստանում ավելի քան 400 մարդ Է զոհվել սաստիկ հեղեղումներից, 1 մլն բնակիչ զրկվել Է օթեւանից

Նոյեմբերի 9-ից ի վեր ավելի քան 400 մարդ Է զոհվել Հնդկաստանի հարավի Թամիլնադ նահանգում տեղի մոլեգնած սաստիկ հեղեղումներից: Նահանգի ավելի քան 1 մլն բնակիչներ զրկվել են օթեւանից: Այս տվյալները հրապարակել Է արտակարգ իրավիճակների ազգային վարչությունը:

Հեղեղումներից առավել շատ տուժած բնակավայրերից մեկը դարձել Է նահանգի մայրաքաղաք Չեննայը, որի բնակչությունը հասնում Է շուրջ 5 միլիոնի: Այստեղ զոհվել Է 325 մարդ, նրանցից 18-ը մահացել են քաղաքային հիվանդանոցում՝ Էներգամատակարարման ընդհատումների հետեւանքով կենսապահովման սարքերի աշխատանքի կանգ առնելու պատճառով:

Միայն պաշտոնական տվյալներով՝ Թամիլնադի նահանգում ժամանակավոր տեղավորման ճամբարներում գտնվում Է 1 միլոնից ավելի մարդ: Չեննայում մինչ այժմ ջրով ողողված են մնում շատ փողոցներ, այդ թվում՝ տրանսպորտային գլխավոր մայրուղիները, խախտված Է հեռախոսակապը, բնակելի ֆոնդի 60 տոկոսից ավելին մնում Է առանց Էլեկտրականության: Քաղաքում դադարեցված Է արդյունաբերական ձեռնարկությունների աշխատանքը:

Բնակչությանն շտապ օգնություն ցուցաբերելու համար այդ նահանգ են փոխադրվել բանակային ստորաբաժանումներ եւ անվտանգության ուժեր: Ինչպես ՏԱՍՍ-ին հայտնել են Հնդկաստանի առեւտրա-արդունաբերական պալատների ասոցիացիայում, ջրհեղեղի հասցրած վնասն արդեն գերազանցել Է 150 մլրդ ռուփին (ավելի քան 2,3 միլիարդ դոլար):
