Համաշխարհային զբոսաշրջությունը կորոնավիրուսի հետևանքով մոտ 320 միլիարդ դոլարի կորուստ է կրել
ECONOMICSՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիո Գուտերեշը հայտարարել է, որ համաշխարհային զբոսաշրջությունը կորոնավիրուսի համավարակի հետևանքով մոտ 320 միլիարդ դոլարի կորուստ է կրել, հայտնում է independent.co.uk կայքը։
Գուտերեշի խոսքով՝ զբոսաշրջությունը համաշխարհային տնտեսության երրորդ ամենախոշոր ոլորտն է, միայն 2019 թվականին այն համաշխարհային առևտրի 7 տոկոսն է ապահովել։
Գուտերեշն ընդգծել է նաև, որ զբոսաշրջությունը Երկրի վրա գտնվող յուրաքանչյուր տասներորդ մարդուն աշխատանքով է ապահովում, բացի այդ մշակութային կապերի միջոցով մերձեցնում է մարդկանց։
Նշվում է, որ 2020 թվականի առաջին հինգ ամսվա ընթացքում միջազգային զբոսաշրջային ժամանումները կրճատվել են ավելի քան կիսով, ինչն էլ մեծ շոկ է եղել և՛ հարուստ, և՛ զարգացող երկրների համար։
ՄԱԿ-ի Զբոսաշրջության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության շուկայի հետազոտության և մրցունակության հարցերով պատասխանատու Սանդրա Կարվաոյի խոսքով՝ այս տարվա 320 միլիարդ դոլարի կորուստը երեք անգամ ավելի մեծ է 2009 թվականի ֆինանսական ճգնաժամի ընթացքում գրանցված վնասներից։
Նշվում է, որ 2020 թվականին զբոսաշրջությունից ստացված եկամուտները կարող են դեռևս նվազել՝ տատանվելով 910 միլիարդից մինչև 1․2 տրիլիոն դոլարի շրջակայքում, ինչը կարող է համաշխարհային ՀՆԱ-ն նվազեցնել 1․5-ից մինչև 2․5 տոկոսով։
