Փայտից, երկաթից, քարից բարձեր. ինչպե՞ս են հնում քնել դրանց վրա
ՀԱՆՐԱՀԱՅՏ ՄՈԼՈՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆՆԵՐԱյսօր մենք չենք կարող պատկերացնել մեր կյանքը առանց բարձերի, բայց հնում դրանք նախատեսված են եղել միայն մեծահարուստների համար: Բարձերի պատմությունը սկսվում է Հին Եգիպտոսից: Հնէաբանները գտել են բարձերի առաջին նմուշները բուրգերում: Եգիպտացիները հորինել են դրանք քնելու ժամանակ մազերի բարդ սանրվածքը փչացնելու վախից: Այդ ժամանակվա բարձը պատվանդանի վրա ամրացված ճկված փայտ էր:
Բարձերի վրա պատկերվել են աստվածներ, որպեսզի նրանք կարողանան պաշտպանել քնած մարդուն չար ուժերից: Փայտե բարձերը մինչև 19-րդ դարը տարածված են եղել նաև ճապոնիայում, իսկ քարից, մետաղից կամ ճենապակուց պատրաստված բարձերը ավանդաբար եղել են չինական: Դրանք եղել են ուղղանկյուն պինդ պատվանդաններ: Պատմության մեջ առաջին փափուկ բարձերի մասին հիշատակվում է Հունաստանում:
Դրանք ընդհանուր կապ չեն ունեցել եգիպտական կամ չինական տարբերակների հետ: Հույներն ավելի շատ գնահատել են հարմարավետությունը: Մահճակալը նրանց համար պաշտամունքային առարկա է եղել, քանի որ նրանք իրենց օրվա մեծ մասն անցկացրել են դրա վրա: Այդ իսկ պատճառով Հունաստանում հորինվել են փափուկ ներքնակներ և բարձեր: Ներկանյութերի օգտագործումը գործվածքներ ստանալու համար, ինչպես նաև կարի տեխնիկայի նրբությունները բարձերը վերածել են արվեստի գործերի: Արդյունքում ճոխ ձևավորված բարձերը դարձել են իսկապես թանկ ապրանքներ: Դեռ մեր թվարկությունից առաջ (V դար) յուրաքանչյուր հաջողակ հույն բարձերի հավաքածու է ունեցել:
Դրանք պատրաստվել են տարբեր չափերով, որպես լցոնիչ օգտագործվել են կենդանիների մազեր, խոտ, թռչունների փետուրներ, իսկ որպես ծածկոցներ օգտագործվել են ուղղանկյուն կամ քառակուսի ձևով կարված կաշի կամ խիտ գործվածքներ: Սկզբից բարձերին անվստահ են վերաբերվել Հին Հռոմում: Բայց շուտով հռոմեացիները գնահատել են փափուկ բարձերը, հատկապես սիրելի են դարձել փետուրից բարձերը: Դրանք ստեղծելու համար օգտագործվել է սագի փետուր: Անգամ զորահրամանատարները հաճախ որոշ զինվորների ազատել են ծառայությունից սագեր պահելու նպատակով, որից հետագայում բարձերի փետուրներ են ստացել: Այդ օրերին հավատացել են, որ բարձերը կարող են կախարդական ազդեցություն ունենալ:
Այսպիսով, օրինակ՝ Ներոնի բարձի տակ միշտ օձի կաշվից պատրաստված իր բազկազարդն է եղել: Նա այդպես է վարվել՝ ցանկանալով ունենալ գիշերային հանգիստ քուն: Կա մեկ այլ պատմություն: Մի հռոմեացի պատրիկ, որը խրված էր պարտքերի մեջ, շարունակում էր հանգիստ քնել իր բարձին, չնայած նրա ամբողջ գույքն արդեն վաճառված էր:
Հենց այդ պատճառով էլ կայսր Օկտավիան Օգոստոսը ամեն ինչ անում էր այդ պատրիկի բարձը ձեռք բերելու համար՝ համարելով, որ հենց բարձն է նրան ազատում անքնությունից: Ներկայումս բարձերը շատ են տարածված, սակայն դրանք հին ժամանակների բարձերից քիչ բանով են տարբերվում: Որոշ ժողովուրդների մոտ բարձերը նույնիսկ պաշտամունքի կամ որոշակի կրոնական նշանակության իրեր են:
