27 տարի է անցել Սպիտակի աղետաբեր երկրաշարժից

Ժոռա Գրիգորյանը Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
27 տարի առաջ այս օրն աշխարհը ցնցվել էր Հայաստանից ստացվող լուրերից: Հայաստանի հյուսիսում դեկտեմբերի 7-ին‚ տեղական ժամանակով 11 անց 41 րոպեին գրանցված երկրաշարժը մի քանի վայրկյանում հողին էր հավասարեցրել քաղաքներ ու գյուղեր` փլատակների տակ թողնելով հարյուր հազարավոր մարդկանց: Էպիկենտրոնը - Սպիտակ քաղաքի մոտ Շիրակամուտ(Նալբանդ) գյուղներ:
Սպիտակի երկրաշարժն ընդգրկել էր Հանրապետության տարածքի մոտ 40 տոկոսը: Պաշտոնական տվյալներով` աղետալի երկրաշարժի հետեւանքով զոհվել է ավելի քան 25 հազար մարդ, ավերվել էին` 20 մեծ ու փոքր քաղաքներ, այդ թվում՝ Սպիտակը, Գյումրին, Վանաձորն ու Ստեփանավանը: Տուժել էր մոտ 350 գյուղ, որից 58-ն ավերվել էր ամբողջությամբ: Այդ օրերին հայ ժողովրդին օգնության ձեռք էր մեկնել ամբողջ աշխարհը:
Անսպասելի աղետը հանկարծակիի բերեց ծայրահեղ իրավիճակում գործելու կոչված կազմակերպություններին և ծառայություններին: Կազմակերպված փրկարարական աշխատանքները հունի մեջ մտան 2-3 օր հետո: Երկրաշարժի առաջին րոպեներից անձնուրաց աշխատում էր ազգաբնակչությունը: Սակայն նրանց փորձի և շատ հաճախ ծայրահեղ իրավիճակներում գործելու տարրական գիտելիքների պակասը բացասաբար էին անդրադառնում փրկարարական աշխատանքների արդյունավետության վրա, երբեմն պատճառ դառնում անտեղի զոհերի: Խիստ զգացվում էր անհրաժեշտ փրկարարական տեխնիկայի պակասը:
Ազգաբնակչության և փրկարարների ջանքերով փլատակներից, զոհված կամ կենդանի, հանվել է ավելի քան 45000 մարդ, հոսպիտալացվել 12500 մարդ:
