Կալիֆոռնիայում կդիտարկվի ստրուկների ժառանգներին վնասի փոխատուցման հարցը
INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱմերիկյան Կալիֆոռնիա նահանգի օրենսդիրները ձեւավորում են աշխատանքային խումբ աֆրոամերիկացիներին, մասնավորապես, ստրուկների ժառանգներին վնասի փոխհատուցման հարցում ուսումնասիրություններ կատարելու եւ առաջարկներ ներկայացնելու համար, հաղորդում է Associated Press-ը։
Հանրապետական եւ Դեմոկրատական կուսակությունների ներկայացուցիչներից կազմված ինն անդամ ունեցող հանձնաժողով ստեղծելու օգտին քվեարկել է Սենատի 33 անդամ, դեմ է քվեարկել 3 սենատոր։
Այդ նախաձեռնությունը կներկայացվի Ասամբելային վերջնական քվեարկության համար նախքան այն, որ երկուշաբթի օրենսդիրները կհետաձգեն նախագիծը մեկ տարով, սակայն Ասամբլեայի անդամների մեծամասնությունն արդեն հաստատել է օրինագծի ավելի վաղ տարբերակը։
Չնայած Կալիֆոռնիան դեռեւս նախքան Քաղաքացիական պատերազմը պաշտոնապես համարվել է ազատ նահանգ՝ սենատոր Հոլի Միթչելի խոսքով՝ Կալիֆոռնիայում մի շարք պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչներ այն ժամանակ սատարել են ստրկատիրական կարգերը։
Համաձայն առաջարկված նախաձեռնության՝ աշխատանքային խումբը կանցկացնի Կալիֆոռնիայում ստրկատիրության ազդեցության ուսումնասիրություն եւ առաջարկներ կներկայացնի օրենսդրական մարմնին մինչեւ 2023 թվականի հուլիսը փոխհատուցման ձեւի, ինչպես նաեւ ռեպարացիային ենթակա անձանց մասին։
Խումբը, որի նիստերը կմեկնարկեն ոչ ուշ, քանի 2021 թվականի հունիսը, կարող է նաեւ առաջարկել ռեաբիլիտացման կամ վնասի փոխհատուցման այլ ձեւեր։
