SOCIETYՕգոստոսի 22-ին մարտական հենակետը ստուգելու գնացած եւ եղանակային պայմանների պատճառով մոլորված ու Ադրբեջանում հայտնված հայ սպա Գուրգեն Ալավերդյանը Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Մարտունի քաղաքից է:
Ադրբեջանի կողմից երեկ հրապարակված տեսանյութում, հավանաբար սպառնալիքների տակ, Ալավերդյանը հրապարակում է իր ծննդավայրի անունը, բնակության հասցեն…
Նա նաեւ նշում է, թե չի ուզում վերադառնալ հայրենիք: Մարտունիի քաղաքապետ Արմեն Ավետիսյանը, որը ոչ միայն Գուրգեն Ալավերդյանի հարեւանն է, այլ ի պաշտոնե կապ է պահպանում նրա ընտանիքի հետ, այդ հայտարարությանը չի հավատում եւ վստահ է, որ սպան այդպես է արտահայտվում սպառնալիքների տակ:
