INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱֆղանստանի իշխանությունները սկսել են ազատ արձակել 400 թալիբ բանտարկյալներին, հայտնում է AFP-ն: Հինգշաբթի ազատ է արձակվել 80 բանտարկյալ, հայտարարել է Ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի խոսնակ Զավիդ Ֆեյսալը` գրելով Twitter-ում, որ դա «կարագացնի ջանքերն ուղիղ բանակցությունների եւ համընդհանուր հրադադարի հաստատման ուղղությամբ»:
Նրանց ազատ արձակումը հաստատվել էր հանգստյան օրերին Համաաֆղանական ավագանու խորհրդի կողմից, որը գումարվել էր նախագահ Աշրաֆ Հանիի կողմից այն բանից հետո, երբ իշխանությունները սկզբում հրաժարվեցին ազատել ծանր հանցագործությունների համար մեղադրվող զինյալներին, այդ թվում` դաժան հարձակումների, որոնց հետեւանքով աֆղանցիներ եւ օտարերկրացիներ էին զոհվել:
Երկու կողմերն էլ հայտարարել են, որ պատրաստ են բանակցություններ սկսել Դոհայում բանտարկյալներին ազատ արձակելուց հետո:
Բանտարկյալների թվում 44 ապստամբ կա, որոնք ԱՄՆ-ում եւ այլ երկրներում առանձնակի մտահոգություն են առաջացնում հարձակումներում իրենց դերի կապակցությամբ:
Հինգշաբթի օրը Հանին նախազգուշացրել էր, որ նրանց ազատ արձակումը «վտանգ է ներկայացնում» աշխարհի համար` նշելով, որ հանցագործների եւ թմրանյութերի վաճառողների ազատ արձակումը, «ամենայն հավանականությամբ», վտանգ կներկայացնի ինչպես մեր, այնպես էլ (Ամերիկայի) եւ աշխարհի համար»:
