Մայք Պոմպեոն չի բացառել պատժամիջոցների կիրառումը Բելառուսի նկատմամաբ
INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մայք Պոմպեոն հարցազրույց է տվել «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանին, որում, պատասխանելով լրագրողի հարցին, չի բացառել պատժամիջոցների կիրառումը եւ Բելառուս նավթի մատակարարումների դադարեցումը` երկրում նախագահական ընտրություններից հետո տեղի ունեցած իրադարձությունների կապակցությամբ:
«Դուք դատապարտել եք ընտրությունները Բելառուսում, եւ Դուք դատապարտել եք նաեւ անվտանգության ուժերի կողմից կիրառված բռնություններն այդ ընտրություններից հետո: Սակայն ի՞նչ է դա նշանակում ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Բելառուսի միջեւ հարաբերությունների ապագայի համար, մասնավորապես` երկու ասպեկտների հետ կապված` Բելառուսին ամերիկյան նավթի մատակարարման եւ ԱՄՆ դեսպանի` Մինսկ ուղարկելու»,- հարցրել է լրագրողը:
«Դե ինչ, մենք պետք է մշակենք դա (պատժամիջոցների կիրառումը եւ նավթի մատակարարման դադարեցումը): Ինչպես Դուք նշեցիք, մենք անասելի մտահոգված էինք ընտրությունների կապակցությամբ եւ խորապես հիասթափված էինք, որ դրանք ավելի ազատ ու արդար չէին: Մենք ավելի վաղ նման պահվածք տեսել էինք եւ դատապարտում ենք, թե ինչպես է դա դրսեւորվում: Այնուհետեւ մենք ականատես եղանք բռնություններին եւ դրա հետեւանքներին»,- ասել է Մայք Պոմպեոն` հավելելով, որ խաղաղ ցուցարարների նկատմամբ վերաբերմունքն անհամատեղելի է նրա հետ, թե ինչպես պետք է վարվեն նրանց հետ:
«Մենք դեռ չենք կողմնորոշվել պատշաճ պատասխանի առումով, բայց ես կարող եմ ասել ձեզ հետեւյալը. մենք կաշխատենք մեր եվրոպացի ընկերների հետ, մեր ազատասեր ընկերների հետ, որոնք հավասարապես մտահոգված են կատարվածի կապակցությամբ: Մենք լավ արդյունքներ ենք ցանկանում բելառուս ժողովրդի համար եւ համապատասխան գործողություններ կձեռնարկենք»,- ասել է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարը:
Պատասխանելով պատժամիջոցների հավանականության եւ Բելառուս նավթի մատակարարման դադարեցման մասին հարցին` Մայք Պոմպեոն ասել է. «Վստահ եմ, որ մենք կքննարկենք այս կետերից յուրաքանչյուրը: Ամենակարեւորը, որ պետք է նշել, չափանիշներն են: Ի՞նչ ենք մենք անհրաժեշտ համարում անել, ոչ միայն Միացյալ Նահանգների կողմից միակողմանի կերպոց, այլեւ բազմակողմանի` բելառուս ժողովրդի համար լավ արդյունքներ ապահովելու համար` լինի դա պատժամիջոցների կիրառում, թե որոշումների կայացում արտադրանքի մատակարարման վերաբերյալ: Այս բոլոր հարցերը դեռ պետք է լուծել»:
Պոմպեոն հավելել է, որ դեռ պետք է հետեւել, թե ինչպես են զարգանալու իրադարձությունները մոտ ապագայում:
