 Թուրքիայի նախագահի խոսնակ Իբրահիմ Քալընը տեղի լրատվամիջոցներին ներկայացնելով հայ-ադրբեջանական լարվածության վերաբերյալ Էրդողան-Պուտին հեռախոսազրույցի մանրամասներ՝ ասել է, որ Էրդողանը Պուտինին խնդրել է օգտագործել Հայաստանի հետ կապը լարվածությունը թուլացնելու համար: Այլ կերպ ասած՝ Էրդողանը խնդրել է Պուտինին, համենայնդեպս ըստ խոսնակի, որպեսզի վերջինս զսպի հայերին:
 Հայտնի է, որ հեռախոսազրույցը տեղի էր ունեցել Էրդողանի նախաձեռնությամբ: Ի՞նչ է կատարվել կամ կատարվում, որ Թուրքիայի նախագահը Պուտինին դիմում է այդպիսի խնդրանքով: Արդյոք դա նշանակո՞ւմ է, որ Թուրքիան առաջարկում է «բարտեր»՝ Պուտինը զսպում է հայերին, իսկ Էրդողանը զսպում է ադրբեջանցիներին, որոնք Ռուսաստանը վերածում են ազգամիջյան բախման թատերաբեմի: Իհարկե, դա ենթադրություն է, բայց ըստ ամենայնի այստեղ է շատ էական գործոնը: Ռուսաստանն ինքն ի զորո՞ւ է կանխել ադրբեջանցիների վայրագությունները իր տարածքում և փակել հարցը, թե՞ ստիպված է լինելու տրվել շանտաժի, իսկ Էրդողանի խնդրանքը պարզապես շանտաժի, այսպես ասած, դիվանագիտական ձև է:

Մյուս կողմից՝ այն, որ զանգահարողը եղել է Էրդողանը, ըստ ամենայնի հիմք է տալիս ենթադրելու կամ եզրակացնելու, որ խնդիր ունի Թուրքիան, ոչ թե Ռուսաստանը: Ըստ այդմ՝ մեծ հավանականությամբ պայման թելադրողը եղել է Պուտինը, ոչ թե Էրդողանը: Խոսքն, իհարկե, կոնկրետ իրավիճակի մասին է, այլ ոչ լայն իմաստով ռուս-թուրքական հարաբերության, որի հակասությունները ընդգրկում են լայն աշխարհաքաղաքական շրջանակ: Իսկ կոնկրետ իրավիճակում Ռուսաստանն առավելություն է ստացել այն բանի շնորհիվ, ինչ արել է հայկական զինուժը Տավուշում, և իհարկե ոչ միայն զինուժը, այլև պետական մեքենան՝ ապահովելով Հայաստանի մարտավարական հաղթանակը ռազմավարական նշանակության ձեռքբերումներով:

 Այդպիսով, Տավուշում ոչ միայն Հայաստանն է լուծել ռազմաքաղաքական նշանակության էական խնդիրներ՝ ասիմետրիկ պատիժ տալով ադրբեջանական սադրանքին, այլև Ռուսաստանն է նաև փաստացի զգացել ինքնիշխան Հայաստանի քաղաքական էֆեկտը՝ Էրդողանի խնդրանքի տեսքով: Եթե ադրբեջանական սադրանքը հասներ նպատակին, ապա ներկայումս երևի թե Պուտինն էր լինելու Էրդողանին խնդրողի դերում:
