Լենա Եագուպեանը քույրերի հետ Սիրիայից Հայաստան է տեղափոխվել և այստեղ մշտական բնակություն հաստատել հինգ ու կես տարի առաջ: «Սիրիայում տագնապալի, պատերազմական վիճակ էր, մեծ վնասներ կրեցինք թալանի պատճառով, հրթիռակոծություններ էին: Հասցված վնասները շատ էին, հույսներս կորցրեցինք, որ կարող ենք որևէ բան վերականգնել և ստիպված էինք հեռանալ Սիրիայից: Ուր գնալ հարցի պատասխանը միանշանակ էր՝ ճանապարհը բերում էր հայրենիք»,-«Փաստի» հետ զրույցում ասում է Լենան:

Առաջին տարում բավականին դժվարություններ են ունեցել: «Ծնվել և տարիներ շարունակ ապրել էինք մեր սեփական տանը, սովոր էինք այդ իրականությանը և հանկարծ գալիս ենք այստեղ՝ նոր քաղաք, անծանոթ մարդիկ: Աշխատանք չունեինք, վարձով էինք բնակվում: Շատ դժվար էր, բայց ուզես-չուզես պետք է հարմարվես: Մինչ օրս էլ լեզվի հետ կապված բարդություններ ունենք, բայց հիմա արդեն շատ հարցեր կարգավորվել են: Սիրիայում 35-ից ավելի տարվա փորձ ունեի բրդի հետ աշխատելու: Կարողանում էի թե՛ մեծաքանակ, թե՛ փոքրաքանակ պատվերներ անել:

Այստեղ էլ որոշեցի նույն գործով զբաղվել: Գործվածքի մեքենա գնեցի և սկսեցի աշխատել: 2016 թվականին վարչապետի մրցանակն եմ ստացել և պարգևատրվել: Մասնակցել եմ բազմաբնույթ ցուցահանդեսների»,նշում է մեր զրուցակիցը, որը ներկայումս աշխատում է սիրիահայ տիկնանց միությունում:

Ասում է՝ կորոնավիրուսյան այս շրջանում մեկ գործ անգամ չի արել: «Անգործությունն ինձ «պատել է»: Առաջ զբոսաշրջիկներ էին գալիս, գնում մեր աշխատանքները, տարբեր ցուցահանդեսներ էին կազմակերպվում, դրանց ժամանակ էին վաճառվում բոլորիս աշխատանքները: Հիմա բարդ ժամանակներ են, սպասում ենք, թե երբ կվերադառնանք մեր առօրյա կյանքին: 

Տարիքային բոլոր խմբերի, տղամարդկանց ու կանանց համար հագուստ պատրաստում եմ, բայց ցուցահանդեսների ժամանակ հիմնականում ներկայացնում եմ փոքրերի համար պատրաստած հագուստներ: Իմ աշխատանքների բոլոր մոդելներն ինքս եմ ստեղծում: Երբ գլուխս բարձին եմ դնում, արդեն պատկերացնում եմ, թե ինչ եմ ստեղծելու, ինչպես եմ աշխատանքս անելու: 

Գաղափարը գալիս է, գծում եմ, գույները համադրում և սկսում աշխատել: Չեմ օգտվում որևէ գրքից, կատալոգից: Երբ, իհարկե, լինում են պատվերներ, մարդիկ բերում են ինչ-որ նկար, հագուստի մոդել, ասում են՝ սրանից ենք ուզում, կարող եմ նույնից պատրաստել, բայց դա այլ հարց է»,-նշում է մեր զրուցակիցը:

Տարածված կարծիք կա, որ ձեռքի աշխատանքների նկատմամբ հետաքրքրությունը գնալով նվազում է, նաև շատ է ասվում այն մասին, որ կան արհեստներ, որոնցով մարդիկ չեն ցանկանում զբաղվել՝ հետաքրքիր չի, նորաձև չի: Լենան նշում է՝ արհեստները, դրանց միջոցով ստեղծված աշխատանքները ժառանգել ենք մեր նախնիներից: «Մեր մեծ մայրերից ենք այս ավանդույթները ժառանգել: 

Հիմա էլ մենք ենք ցանկանում մեր գիտելիքները, հմտությունները փոխանցել հաջորդ սերունդներին՝ կլինի շյուղագործությունը, ասեղնագործությունը, ձեռքի տարաբնույթ աշխատանքները և այլն: 

Ներկա սերունդը բացարձակ չի հետաքրքրվում նման բաներով: Բայց ցանկանում ենք, որ գոնե մի քիչ դուրս գան համացանցից, և ծանոթանան հայկական ասեղնագործությանը, ձեռագործ աշխատանքներին: Մեր նպատակն է, որ ներկա սերունդը գոնե գաղափար ունենա ձեռագործի մեր ավանդույթներից, որ կարողանա դրանք փոխանցել իր երեխաներին»,-եզրափակում է Լենան:
